One month later: Draco's pov
It's tough knowing Severus wasn't here...I couldn't go to him for advice. He always teased me about every little thing and now...there will always be a void.
y/n has barely said two words to anyone. She stays in her room, even Elliot has to sleep on the couch. She only talks to Dobby, he informed us that she mentioned not leaving for awhile...whether that be for our sake or hers...was still unknown.
She scared us that night. Mum called the doctor...she had large gashes up her legs, she ran barefoot through our thorn bushes to get to Severus. She was then diagnosed with Takotsubo cardiomyopathy, they said her heart couldn't take anymore damage...it was almost like her heart actually broke.
Elliot went back to work, he said "if she won't talk to me, there's no reason for me to be here"
...mum and dad hates him.
She worries that she is selfish to feel this way.
"everyone lost Severus, not just me" she often says
Grieving does atrocious things to people like y/n...like a piece of paper, if you will. Little tears here and there, until one day...the paper runs out.
The last straw...
I knocked on the door
"Come in" her fragile voice spoke
I won't lie to you when I say I was a bit nervous.
I twisted the door knob and opened the door.
She sat on the bed, reading. Neither of us said a word.
This happens every night, I ask her, she says no...
"Hi" I sighed
"Uh..Hi" she chuckled softly
"Do you want to join us for dinner?"
She drew in a deep breath and looked down to her book.
"I would like that"
Oh...
She stood from the bed and we both walked downstairs.
"No again?" Mum sighed when I walked in
Y/n walked in behind me.
"Oh...y/n, I'm so happy you decided to join us dear" she placed another plate down on the table.
We helped mum put out the food along with some silverware and napkins.
"How are you all doing?" Y/n asked
"Some better, thank you" father nodded
"How are you?" I asked her
"Good" she smiled slightly and took a small bite from her potatoes.
The sound of scratching of metal and glass plates talked more than we did...we were glad she was here still.
"Where's Everyone?" Mum asked
