Chapter 4: Happiness

Happiness is not something really made. It comes from your own actions.

"Come on, Fluke. You can do this. Just move your own feet!" Fluke is standing in front of the stairs that lead to the rooftop of the school. It's Friday again and this is the day he has to do it.  He's holding a big lunchbox tightly against his chest. He wants to try to eat with them, but those stairs are still a big obstacle for him. Suddenly the door opens from the rooftop and Fluke looks up. He sees Cooheart looking at him with a surprised expression. His face then changes and gives Fluke a heartwarming smile.
"I'll be waiting here, Fluke. Just do it at your own pace."

Fluke gets red and stares at his feet. He closes his eyes and takes a big breath. One step, another step and another step. He keeps going until he reaches the top. He looks up and stands face to face with Earth. "I'm proud of you, Fluke!" He gives him a big smile. "Come on, the others will be surprised." Fluke walks through the door and has to close his eyes because of the brightness of the sun hitting the white-gray tiles of the rooftop. When he opens them again, he sees the others sitting in a circle, eating their lunch and playing games.

"Guys! Look who's here!" Cooheart runs to the others. They all look at the direction where Fluke is standing. He feels a bit embarrassed under their gazes. "Earth! Did you force him again?" Kao looks mad at Earth. "No! He did it himself! I swear!" Earth defends himself. "H-He didn't do anything bad." Fluke fidgets, the others all look at him and sighs of relief. "Come sit with us then." Boun smiles at him. Fluke slowly walks closer and sits on the ground.

"Wow! Do you make your own lunch?" Prem looks at his lunchbox, Fluke nods. He's looking around, he doesn't see him. "He's buying some drinks for us. He'll be here soon." Fluke looks at Kao and sees him smirking. His face turns red and he looks down. "I-I...made a lot." Fluke pushes his lunchbox to the middle. They all look at him with a surprised expression. "You made it for us?" Boun says. "Y-Yes." He fidgets with his fingers. "I really want to hug you now." Earth whines. Fluke chuckles at the voice and he looks up at him. "I w-won't mind." He says embarrassingly.

Earth's lips begin to tremble in pout and he immediately launches himself at Fluke. They both fall down. The others are laughing at Earth laying on top of Fluke while hugging him. "So, you're stealing other men's hearts now huh?" Fluke's heart skips a beat and he immediately blushes. Earth notices it. "Oh, really? I think he already chose a specific heart." He grins at Fluke. "Get off him now, Earth. You're squishing him to death." Kao drags Earth from him.

Fluke sits straight up and he feels Ohm sitting close next to him. His heart is beating fast, remembering what Ohm said to him. Flirt with him? What will he do? He suddenly feels a hand over his own and he looks to his side. Ohm is looking ahead of him with a small grin on his face. "Hey! Stop flirting in front of us you two!" Kao shouts at both of them. "I won't." Ohm replied. "Why?" Prem eats a small sandwich from the lunchbox. "Cause Fluke gave me permission." Fluke's redness spread further to his neck. He tries to hide his face, but it's not really helping.

"Ohm! Stop teasing him!" Prem and Boun sit besides Fluke and pull him between them. "Are you serious right now!? Give him back!" Ohm tries to grab Fluke, but he feels a strong body holding him back. "Hell nah you're going to take Fluke all by yourself." Kao is blocking him. Fluke is still hiding his face in between Boun and Prem and they're holding his back. "Fluke, let me give you a warning." He looks to his side and sees Earth sitting next to them.

"Don't trust Ohm ok? He may be quiet and look awfully handsome, but he's a predator. If you aren't careful, he will eat you, understand?" Earth looks at him with a serious expression. Fluke giggles from the warning. "Shit. Let me go Kao! He gave me permission, so I'm allowed." He's struggling to break free. "No way we're going to give you our Fluke, you beast!" Boun and Prem say in unison. Fluke has never felt so happy and protected with so many people and a big smile grows on his face.
