Chapter three

The next day ...

It was about noon when Lexie woke up. It's Sunday, so she had the privilege to sleep in. Lex's kitten Moon (short for Mooncake) was sleeping on the bed with her. She pat Moon and she started purring.
"Moon you're living the life all you do is sleep, eat and go to the bathroom. I wish I was you" Mooncake purred in response and Lex laughed.
She made herself  and Mooncake breakfast. Then she sat down and scrolled through her notifications. There was one that caught her attention. It was from him, he wrote her about 6h ago.

IPurpleYou: Hey hey. Good morning, hope you had a good night sleep 😁

"Oh look Moon Sunim wrote me. So cute."she said showing her cat the phone. Moon smelled her phone and buped her head against it.
"Moon is this approval" Lex laughed and pat her cat on the head.

LexieCane: Hello and good morning to you too. Yes, actually I slept like a log yesterday 😁. And you, you already in Korea?

.

There was no response. "He was probably on the plane, or he's too busy to check his phone. Well,it doesn't matter, he'll respond when he has the time" Lexie thought and continued with her Sunday work. Throughout most of the day, Lexie worked either on her school project or she concentrated on work. She worked at a big company, so she had lots of work from home too. In between she took some breaks to refresh her brain and eat something. Her kitten was always beside her sleeping or playing with her toys. Lexie worked untill late in the evening . She was so concentrated on work she completely forgot about her phone. She checked her phone to see if Sunim maybe replied to her. He didn't. Lexie thought he didn't reply because of the time difference or he just had work.
It was getting late and all the things she did for school and work made her very tired, before she went to bed she had had dinner. She fed her kitten to and then went straight to bed.

Taehyung has been thinking about Lexie the whole day. He wanted to talk to her but because of the strict company rules, he had to keep it on the down-low. He wasn't monitored all the time, but he had to be careful with Instagram. It was very late when he could finally talk to her.

IPurpleYou: Hey! I am so, so, so, sorry for not replying earlier, but I had some stuff to take care of when I got home. And it's probably the next day where you are 😅

It was the next morning, at about 9, when Lexie woke up. She looked through her phone and saw that Sunim texted her something. Message was sent 15min ago."Wow, the time difference is so weird" she thought.

LexieCane: Hello and again, good morning to me. It's okay, I get it, you came home and you were probably with your family, so really it fine.

IPurpleYou: Its morning there?! Jesus, the time difference is so strange lol. Well, I didn't see my family. I just had some work stuff to take care of. I really am glad you understand ☺️.

LexieCane: Really, work stuff? But you just came back home! Well, I hope you're gonna get some good rest now.

IPurpleYou: Yeah, I hope so too. I'm so tired from the flight. Enough about me, how was your day... yesterday?

LexieCane: It was fine,I was either working for school or for my job but Moon kept me company  😇😁

IPurpleYou: You go to school and work at the same time?! Who is Moon 🧐? Do you have a boyfriend?

LexieCane: Well, yeah. I live by myself, so I need to work. I don't really mind working and going to college at the same time. My employer understands when I can work and when I can't. Oh yeah I do also it's a girl and a cat.

Lexie typed and then sent a photo of Mooncake who was sleeping in her little bed in the corner.

IPurpleYou: Wow that's so cool to work and be in school. My friend was in the same situation, he got a really good job offer while he was young so they told him to finish school while he was working.
IPurpleYou: Ohhh it's a kitten its sooo adorable 🥰. I wanna pet it ☺️

LexieCane: Really, that's so great. Well, here most of us work while we go to school or college so it's not that uncommon. Thank you I know Mooncake is just so adorable. And so low maintenance I love her.
LexieCane: Do you have any pets?

IPurpleYou: I do actually. A dog but he's not here with me now 😞

LexieCane: aw to bad I hope you see him soon 😄

They talked for hours, asking eachother questions and having fun. Lexie was slowly starting to like this guy.

Teahyung was just so happy to talk to her. Because they both had busy schedules, they had to pick a time when they would both be available so they can talk. It was either really late where she's from, or really late in Korea. These conversations continued for weeks, they were talking and getting to know each other better. Tae didn't tell Lexie who he really was and it bugged him. The more time passed, the thought of her finding out the truth about who he really was bugged him even more.
