I LOVE YOU

Chapter Ten

One year later.

Lexie and Sky moved to Korea since Lexie's work demanded her to be there. It was hard for her at first, living there, seeing his face everywhere; on buses, on cars, on buildings. It was just too much, but with time, it got better. She has been living in Korea for 2 months now. She didn't live in the center of Seoul, but a little outside of it.

"Hey Lexie, can you go to the market and pick up a few stuff?" Sky asked her friend, clearly too busy preparing something.

"Yeah, sure, just give me the list" Lexie said

"But most of the stuff we already have" Lexie noticed as she checked the list that Sky gave her.

"I know, but some friends are coming over today, so we need this" she simply explained.

"What friends?" Lexie asked confused.

"Some friends I met a month ago" Sky replied, calm as ever.

"Ummm okay, sure, then see ya later."

With that, Lexie took her car keys and drove to the nearby market.

A few hours later, Lexie nearly finished her groceries.

"Ok, so, I got everything, just the chicken is missing." Lexie was walking to get to the other side of the market where they sold chicken but before she stopped someone bumped into her.

"Hey, watch where you're going" she said.

She looked up and she saw the last person she wanted to. Him.

"Lexie?" hearing him say her name was like a shock wave through her body. She never thought she would hear his voice again.

Before she could say something, he grabbed her wrist and pulled her to a dark corner where nobody could see them.

"Lexie, is that really you? Your hair is brown again" Tae said surprised at the fact she is really there.

Lexie stayed quiet.

"Yeah, it really is you! Oh my god! How can this be, why are you here?" Tae started asking questions but she didn't answer any at all.

"Still no answer" he said as he looked at her and she was looking down at her feet.

"Lex, please, look at me. Please, I need to see your eyes. I need to see your face. I nee-"

"Why-"

"What I didn't hear you," Tae said leaning closer to her.

"Why here, why now. Why are you here" she said, trying not to cry

"You never texted me, not even once. It's been a year and I was almost getting over you, but now you're back just when I'm almost healed. I moved here because of work even tho I was afraid of this. But then I started to realize even if I live here now, I won't see you, there is no chance. Yes, it was hard seeing your face on the buses, taxies, subway, building ect. but I got used to it. I was almost healed" Lexie said, striking Tae on his chest ever so slightly.

"I thought I was over you but I wasn't. How, just how do I forget you?" Lexie said, tears rolling down her face.

Tae hugged her while she was standing there like a statue. And then he whispered.

"I left you and lost you a year ago, but today I got a second chance and I will not let you go Lex. I love you with all my heart and remember, I will never ever stop loving you."

She started sobbing even harder and that's when she finally wrapped her arms around his waist and whispered into his chest.

"I couldn't tell you this in the hotel but now I think I can finally say it" She lifted her head looking at Tae tears rolling down her face but she had a smile on her face then she said; "Kim Taehyung I love you now and forever"

Taehyung's eyes widened and he remembered that those were the words he said to her that day. His heart was warm and fuzzy and he hugged her even tighter.

After at least 5 minutes of hugging. Lexie calmed down and stopped crying. It was a good thing she wasn't wearing any make-up. Then Tae finally spoke.

"So, why are you here?"

"My friend asked me to pick up some groceries. And you?"

"Really, Jimin asked me the same thing he said some friends are coming over" They said the last part in unison.

"What? How did you know" Tae asked.

"My friend Sky said the exact same thing"

"Really? Wait, wait, wait. Sky, your friend, the one that was waiting in my hotel room a year ago?"

"Yes! Wait do you think Jimin and Sky planed this after that day" Lexie asked with widened eyes.

"You must be right. It was weird that Jimin told me to go to this specific market. I usually don't come here. I guess this really was their plan. I'll slap him but hug him at the same time because he brought you back to me" Tae said hugging Lex again
"Now it all makes sense why Jimin was always texting someone for the past year. When I asked him about it  he would say it was either his sibling or his mom" Tae started thinking about Jimin's weird acting.

"Wait Sky was always texting someone too! Oh, they got close because of us and me coming here was a perfect opportunity for them to set us up" Lexie finally connected the dots.

"So that means that when we were talking in the hotel room, that was the day they got to know each other. Wow, I never thought Jimin would settle like this. Wait, then that means all of the members were on it too"

"They must be."

"Lets go tou your place and see. It was weird when jin just left me in the market and said he would pick me up when I'm done. But I'm guessing he never was. Lex please tell me your with a car?" Tae said making puppies dog eyes at Lex.

"Yeah I do" Lexie said smiling at how cute of a face a grown man could do

"Oh thank god. Oh wait this also reminds me of something Yoongi said to me a long time ago. He said that I should stay positive and tell you how I feel and that you might give me chance. Thats why I screamed that I love you that day. But Yoongi also said if you don't give me chance then, that you maybe would in the future. I think he was right he must be some kind of psychic" Teahyung said laughing and Lexie laughed too. It was nice seeing her smile again.

"Wait Yoongi said something similar to me he said that he knew, me and you come from different worlds and that he knew I would tell you we can't be together, but he thinks that one day we will be together when the time is right."

"Wow Hyung really is psychic or he had his fingers in between this."

"Well I wouldn't know but we should head back"

"Wait, Lexie, before we go. There is something I wanted to do for a long time," Tae said looking deep into Lexie's eyes.

"What's that?"she asked

Tae looked into her eyes. He got lost in hers and she got lost in his. He leaned closer when they were just an inch apart and whispered "I wanted to kiss you since the first day I saw you in that theatre"

He kissed her passionately. He poured all the love into that one single kiss, trying to savour the moment and the taste of her lips. While she was stunned, she just went along with the kiss. She got lost into the kiss. They both thought the time has stopped and it probably did because for them this kiss meant they would finally try and work everything out and live in their beautiful sweet world.

When they parted their lips Tae hugged her and said "Lexie like I said a year ago I will say it again I love you now and forever and I will never let you go" Those words stuck to Lexie and she knew she will remember them forever. They shared another kiss before heading to her apartment to see what his and hers friends did.
