"Maryam" hajiya Tani shouted for the up tenth time but still no reply. So she decided to go and check on her.
She opened the door to Maryam's room she found her sitting majestically applying some make up.
" So all this while I have been calling your name you decided not to answer, just for me to come and see you applying some nonsense on your face" blabbed hajiya Tani in disbelief.
" Gaskiya am tired of working am not a house maid for crying out loud, ever since amrin stepped her foot out of this house I haven't slept for a proper one hour haba kije kiyi aikin ki dallah" said Maryam.
Hajiya Tani stayed mouth a gap looking at Maryam In shock.
" Maryam you are saying all this nonsense to me, your mother......"
" Dallah gafara I have some where going" said Maryam leaving the room dressed in a tight blue t- shirt and black sweat pants cutting her mum mid sentence.
" Ah lalle Dole amrin ta dawo gdan Nan bari In Kira alhaji" said hajiya Tani to her self before sauntering to her room to get her phone.
"Alhaji come back home as soon as possible we need to go get amrin back" hajiya Tani uttered a s soon as he answered the phone.
" Hajiya is everything fine" he asked worriedly.
" Kawai alhaji come back home now" she answered.
" Okay am on my home" he said and hang off the call.
3 HOURS LATER.
She looked at the expensive wrist watch tied around her wrist and sigh hitting her hand that is adorned with expensive rings on the center table waiting eagerly for her so called husband.
She was dressed in a yellow and black lace, she tied her head tie, wrapped a black veil round her shoulders
She stood up and herd to the door a soon as she heard the door bell.
"Haba alhaji tun yaushe ka barni Ina jiranka" said hajiya Tani
"Can we leave already" alhaji magaji said changing the topic.
They sauntered outside and entered his silver SUV and headed to alhaji yakubu adamu's residence to get amrin back.
Upon reaching the house they asked the gate man to inform alhaji yakubu about there arrival.
"Hajiya ku biyoni" said baba maigadi leading the way to the guests living room with alhaji magaji and hajiya tani trailing behind.
In the meantime maids started filing the center table in front of them with soft drinks and different kinds of snacks.
Alhaji yakubu came out shortly with hajiya saadatu looking all elegant in there expensive attires they sat comfortably on the two sitter facing the magaji's.
After the greetings and all the introductions alhaji yakubu cleared his throat in the alhaji's style before starting a serious conversation.
" alhaji magaji can you explain to me the solid reason that brought you here" alhaji yakubu said calmly in his manly voice looking at the magaji's
" alhaji dama munzo ne Dan Neman alfarma kuma mu bada hakuri" alhaji magaji started but then stopped and took a deep breath before continuing " alhaji alfarmar itace Dan allah pls return Khadija to us ever since she left we have been regretting what we have done to her sharrin shaidan ne, and the only possible way to make her forgive us is by giving her the love and care she needs" alhaji magaji said like he is repenting for real, like he means all what he has said making hajiya tani to smile in her brain thanking Allah for giving her a cunning husband like alhaji magaji.
Alhaji yakubu sighed and looked at his gorgeous wife saying " umman Fatima what do you have to say about this, anything u decided is what will be done"
" alhaji I think this is about amrin's life so she gets to decide whether to follow them, my point here is we should call amrin to come and decide for her selve and what ever she decided is what will be done" hajiya saadat said making the little hope hajiya tani and alhaji magaji has to vanish cause they know very well amrin will never follow them
" umm hajiya Sai an nemi shawarar tane umm I mean umm just ask her to come with us and I know she will never disobey your orders" hajiya tani said stuttering all through
"Aa hajiya I think what Ummi Fatima said is right it about amrin's life so her opinion matters" alhaji yakubu uttered living no room for arguments
Hajiya Fatima stood up and sauntered to the main house to get amrin thinking of how to tell amrin the sad news cause she did not completely believed about the magaji's repentance.
Upon entering Fatima's room which they shared with amrin cause they refused to use separate rooms, the girls squat down and greeted her she answered them with a beautiful smile tugged in her lips
" amrin abban ku na kira yana pallorn baki" she passed the message before leaving the room, leaving the girls with there mouth a gap cause they knew something most be wrong
After she has digested what she heard amrin stood up and put her long hijab on top of her brown and caramel gown and made her way straight to the guest room.
AMRIN'S POV
Upon reaching the guest living room I knocked before entering with a salam that died down looking at the duo in front of me, I calmed my breath and walked calmly, I sat on the royal soft carpet in the living room I greeted them all with my head bowed down in respect waiting for the worst to happen.
AMRIN I heard dad called my name softly "naam" I answered raising my head to look at him for some split seconds before looking down again.
" the main reason we're gathered here is that your uncle and aunt here came and talked to us on a serious topic which mainly concerns your life and happiness and we are happy to do what ever you wish dear no body will force you into something you don't want ok" alhaji yakubu completed and I nod my head quietly knowing fully what is coming.
" my dear your aunt and uncle here wants to ask for your forgiveness and wants you to go back home with them" hajiya saadatu added
" amrin pls forgive us, ever since you left life has taken a toll on us pls come back so we can make it up to you" hajiya tani said nudging her husband to say something
" yes amrin pls come back and nasrin is missing you badly" alhaji magaji said knowing fully bringing up nasrin will soften her heart because they are very close
I just sat down there looking like the helpless fool I am I don't know whether to believe them or not did they regret and repent or not but I don't think aunt and uncle will repent this soon a part of my heart wants to believe and a part is disagreeing I just don't know what to do or think right now I just want to be left alone and think it through.
" amrin don't stress yourself and think too much okay, what ever you want is what will be done nobody is forcing you just say your mind" hajiya Fatima encouraged her.
Umm daddy ( alhaji yakubu he warned her about calling him uncle likewise his wife)
I started but stopped and took a deep breath looking at the three pairs of eyes looking at me with very much interest
