Today was just another one of those days where the grass is green and the wind is howling,but something is different.Something is strange i can tell. I looked over to see Ari looking stressed and melancholy.She opened the door to get in the car and buckled her seatbelt.i buckled mine and off we went.
The ride to the house was long and boring but interesting.The mathersons didnt seem like bad people and they seemed nice.We had to answer a series of questions about ourselves like any other adoption.It was quite annoying but we didn't expect them to already know who we are.We finally pulled up to the house.
This house was a decent size.Me and Ariana looked at the house,it kinda reminded me if our last adopters house.Of course it wasn't though because she lived somewhere else and she was evil.Brigit was her name.Brigit would make us clean her whole house,scrub the floors and dust everything.She did other evil things but we both hated Brigit.
Ariana looked at me in relief."I think we are going to be safe here." she said. then she walked over to our new mother Alice and Mark our new parents.Alice had dark brown hair,almost black,blue eyes and black glasses.And Mark had Brown hair with green eyes and muscular arms.
They told us we could do whatever we wanted in the house.There really was nothing to do.For a few hours we watched tv and ate random stuff in the house.At this point we were wishing we had chores cause it would give us something to do.We would be able to at least have something to do to keep ourselves occupied.
Mark and Alice left Ariana and I home alone at night and part of the day.They worked the night shift.Every day after they got home they got meaner and meaner even though they used to be nice.They were turning into the mean parents.We were not allowed to eat after 6:00 pm or have friends over,and we could only do one what they call "unproductive" thing a day.
