CAN I BE YOURS?

CHAPTER ONE:JUST MET

Jean staring into the eyes of the employee who presented the documents and information,and his bald head which reflected the bright white light in the room. He didn't bother about how he looked or how he dressed,all he was concerned  about was the documents presented to him and the contract he was going to sign. He knew that the contract and the deal he was going to make is not something he could bounce back from. That is one of the greatest fears of being a businessman.

He looks instead at the bunch of documents and filed papers laying out on his table,with the empty pack of pins and sharped pencils. The day of the conference is three weeks away. It's when most businessmen make their money, sealing deals and making contract with other companies. Being ready this early,months before it starts,shows how ready and eager he is to become partners with other companies and make lots of money that year.

Jean wipes the shiny patch of his sweaty palm with a handkerchief,not out of tiredness but out of inconvenience and sighs saying; "i'm desperately in need of a secretary". He picks up the document containing the contract which he's to sign.

Jean calls in he's PA and tells him to find him a very intelligent and capable secretary and who would also look presentable to him before the conference holds.

So many people offered for a job,but Jean didn't find them capable and smart,he wanted someone who was perfect; "we have searched but still couldn't find the one you would like" said a very soft voice , Jean ignored what was said and still ordered them to find someone before the day of the conference arrives.

Danyl, a young and beautiful graduate of Hamilton uni also applied for the job, she was interviewed and seemed very smart and capable to be Mr Jeans secretary. Just immediately her information was delivered to Jean, he found it very interesting and demands to see her.

Danyl was immediately taken to the office. When Jean saw her he wasn't pleased with what he saw, he was expecting someone who was dressed in a more feminine way not someone who was just wearing a casual outfit. He disliked her the very first time he saw her and decided to treat her like a mere secretary.

Danyl can feel the anger radiating off of him like heat on the pavement. She speaks up before he says something she will regret ever applying for the job, "umm,sir my name is.....", being interrupted by his hand hanging up he loudly said with a terrifying voice; "did I ask you for your name? Shy and ashamed she said,"no, I just wanted to introduce myself properly and formally". Jean looked at her with so much anger and disgust while rolling his chair and said angrily,"I don't care to know who you are or where you came from, just don't talk when your not asked to,just do what you came here to do BEING MY SECRETARY got that?, so sad and scared she replied with a soft voice; "yes sir" Jean stood up from his really relaxed chair walked towards Danyl looked at her up and down,rolled his eyes and walked away. Leaving Danyl all alone in the office wondering what she did to make him so upset.

Danyl pushes back her temper over Jeans rude tone of speaking to her, and made up her mind that anyway she was here to make some money for her mom laying sick in the hospital and urgently needs to undergo surgery before the year is over and she doesn't need anyone to like her because that is not her priority.

Jean walks towards his car and suddenly stops,he turned and looked at his PA, wondering why he would bring such a girl who doesn't have any fashion sense in dressing and comes from a poor background to be his secretary. His PA noticed how angry he was and quickly started explaining why they choose her,"she was the only person with a good educational background,Sir we had no choice but to offer her the job,we're deeply sorry sir". Jean got into his car while adjusting his suit and said; "I hope I don't get tired of her before the day of the conference" he looked out of the window and smirked at his PA while the car drove away.
