CAN I BE YOURS?

CHAPTER TWO:ONE CHANCE

Danyl Pearl mouth stretches open in a yawn. She is late for her job interview. Which is very important to her, and it doesn't stop her from stopping by the cemetery to drop flowers by her mothers grave or from saying hi to her uncle working at the chicken restaurant She start her day by doing all of these things that guarantee her success.

She finds her way to the most adorable and wonderful place she has ever dreamed to work in: NATIONAL GREENFIELD AIRLINES she was so excited and willing to give everything she got to succeed in this job interview. Danyl was dressed officially and ready to be interviewed.

Danyl was asked to wait in the waiting  room because the CEO had a visitor which kept her wondering who the visitor was at this time. Not too long Danyl was asked to come in, even though the visitor wasn't yet out. Danyl stretched her hand out to the door nob and twisted it open, to her greatest surprise the visitor who has been inside the office was no other person than Mr Jean from JB GROUP. Her eyes widened and she stood there like a solid stone leaving the atmosphere in total silence, then immediately she heard a thick,deep voice speak to her.

"Eh mm, miss Danyl you can come and have your seat and stop staring at Mr Jean"the CEO said while adjusting his suits.
"S..so..sorry for my behavior Mr Michaels, it will never happen again"she said looking down.
"Well it okay, but before we proceed to the interview I would like to introduce you to my son, Mr Jean" Danyl was in total shock when she heard the word "son" she screamed without knowing what she did "SON" immediately Mr Michaels asked;"do you know him?" so she decided that she wasn't going to loose this job and said "no" sharp response. Jean looked at her in a very surprised way and what went down through his mind was; "why did she say she doesn't know me?" Danyl looked at Jean and they both made eye contact as if they knew each others thought, Mr Michaels noticed the both of them so he broke the awkward silence by saying; " Danyl  you have a good educational background and they are quite impressive, without too much discussion you have been offered the job,your to start tomorrow morning as the head of departments" Danyl thanked him,took her documents and walked out of the office as soon as possible.

Jean staring at Danyl so much caught his fathers attention without even realizing it. "Has she worked with you before?" his father asked him the question staring into his eyes, "y..y..yes she has,as my secretary"
"And did you treat her well?"
"No I didn't and now am regretting why I didn't" his father came closer to him and asked a question that took him by surprise.
"Do you like her?"hearing these words Jean looked at his father,he didn't know whether to answer his father or to ignore him.
"Why do you ask dad?"
"Because I saw the way you looked at her,with so much passion"
"I..I..it was nothing dad,honestly really nothing"he stood up and walked out of the office,in other to avoid any more questions from his dad.

While Danyl was walking down the hallway,she suddenly felt someone pull her with so much energy and forced her against the wall,she closed her eyes due to the pain on her back and when she finally opened her eyes she found Jean in front of her with his hands across her on the wall. Her heart suddenly started beating really fast and her face turned red. Then Jean spoke; "why do you always drive me crazy" these words he spoke sent a shiver down Danyl spine which made her have goosebumps.
"What do you mean?"she asked him with a shaken voice
"First you work for me and now you work for my dad,really?"
"But you fired me"
"Yes I did fire you but who do you think you are to work for my dad huh" as his grip got tighter
"Just stop this Mr Jean I don't have time for this, I have to prepare for my job tomorrow"
"You know Danyl I can get you fired right now you wanna know why well that's because I am his son and I also have rights get that and just know your place" then he let go of her and left, at that point her eyes got watery but then she held it in

The next day she got to her office Mr Michaels gave to her then she started working hard cause she wanted to get paid well and get promoted
