CHAPTER EIGHT:ALMOST

Danyl woke up the next day feeling relieved and rested. She stood up and started preparing for work,she promised herself that she was going to move on and forget about what happened yesterday,she decided that she was going to act normal and not make herself look sad in front of everyone in the office.

Danyl got to work, greeted everyone and headed to her office. Jean still in his office,thought about what happened yesterday,he still regretted leaving Danyl all alone hungry and tired,he didn't even pay attention to her or dance with her and that was what made him more angry,he really needed to speak with Danyl. Jean picked up his phone and called Daniel to ask if Danyl has arrived at the office
"Hey Daniel"
"Yes Jean good morning,why did you call?"
"Um,I just wanted to ask if Danyl has arrived at the office"
"Ohh,yes she has"
"Where is she right now?"
"She's at the graphic designing meeting"
"What she doing there?"
"I really don't know,you should ask her"
"I will but,she won't pay attention me"
"Why?,what did you do?"
"I messed up at the party"
"Don't tell me you left her and went to make out with another girl"
"Am really sorry I didn't mean it"
"Jean for heavens sake she loves you"
"What!!"
"Yes she does but she didn't tell you"
"Please tell her to head to my office right now"
"I think you should call her yourself"
"She won't answer me or pick up my calls"
"Dude I think you should still call her and at least explain things to her,maybe when she's done with the meeting"
"OK I think I will try"
"Don't just try you tell her to come and make it quick before she goes home tonight"
"I will"
"OK bro gotta go"
"Bye"
"Bye"

After Danyl was done with the meeting she wanted to go to her office have her lunch and go for a break,when she got the message that Jean wanted her in his office immediately,she wanted to stay and act like she didn't hear of get anything but realized she had to go because
he was her boss.

Danyl go to his office and slammed the door open,she stared at him for a second before walking up to him. Danyl didn't want to talk to him neither did she want to see him,but here she was standing right on front of him waiting for him to talk
"Um,I want to talk to you"
"I know,and am waiting for you to talk"
"It hard to say,am trying to..."
"Look Jean I have important things to do,can you go straight to the point"
"OK,umm"
"Hmm"
"Am sorry Danyl I didn't mean to leave you in the party"
"I was hungry,thirsty and tired I called you and heard you making out with another girl,do you know how hurt I was"
"What do you mean by hurt"
"I mean I felt jealous and angry seeing you with another"
"I thought we were just friends"
"Just friends?,uhh just friends,I freaking like you or should i say the word love before you believe me,should I?" Danyl felt so sad and angry then she left his office and ran to hers.

Jean was so confused after hearing Danyl confession,he couldn't believe that Danyl would fall for him after all that he did to her,he felt like a fool for not giving her much attention and for not noticing her feelings for him earlier. Jean was so pained that he did not get to tell her how feels about her,he was willing to give her all but not now. Jean wanted to make sure that him and Danyl settle their misunderstanding and able to tolerate each other then they can start a relationship together.

Danyl ran into her office,packed her things and was about to head out. She got stopped by Daniel,then he dragged her back into her office and said;
"Why are you running away from him?"
"What do you mean,I cannot be loving someone who doesn't care about my feelings or who doesn't feel the same way"
"And who told you he doesn't feel the same way?"
"Isn't it obvious"
"No nothing is obvious"
"What do you mean by nothing is obvious?"
"The reason why he called you into his office was to sort out every single misunderstanding he has with you,so he can be sure whether to tell you how he feels or not. Jean has never told a girl he loves her ever since he broke up with his ex,from that time he found girls so annoying and irritating,that's why he behaved like that to you the very first time you came,and that why people think he's a wicked and heartless person, but if you look into his heart,you will see a very nice and passionate person within him,so just be patient with him,OK"
"I didn't know about all this,ugh I feel so stupid and foolish"
"No don't say that,if I was in your position I would have done the same thing as well,so don't blame yourself just go make things right with him"
"Thank you so much"
"No need to thank its my pleasure to make you happy"
"Your so funny,OK I have to go now"
"OK bye"
"Bye"
Danyl got back to his office stared at him and planned to make things right between them. Jean saw the sadness and wanted to settle things,he knew he had wronged her he was ready for her to forgive him,he wanted to make her happy so she can see him as a good person and this was the right time to make all that happen before it is to late.
