[Back on Earth, the quinjet arrives at the upstate New York Avengers headquarters]

"So, that's the home, you were talking about.. huh!" Clint said, looking a little amazed.

Steve and Tony both were still thinking about the breakup of Avengers and apparently it was both of their fault.

[Col. James Rhodes is dealing with the holographic person of Secretory of State Thaddeus Ross (Lt. Gen. USA Ret.)]

"Oh God!! Not him again." Bruce groaned, remembering his past with the man. He didn't like him, hell Bruce would say he was one of the few people, he would like for the Hulk to go after.

T. ROSS: Still no words from Vision?

RHODES: Satellites lost him somewhere over Edinburgh.

T. ROSS: On a stolen quinjet with four of the world's most wanted criminals.

"What?!!?" The Earth residents (except Strange and T'Challa) all yelled.

"Why in the world, he is calling the Captain America a criminal? Coulson said bewildered, completely forgetting about the rest of the group.

The remaining three of  the said criminals, turn towards the said man with raised eyebrows and Sam said sarcastically, "The Captain America, and what about us? what are we, some part time mafia?" 

Coulson turned a little red, and stuttered a little apology.

But the question, was still there what could have possibly happened to make them criminals.

RHODES: You know they're only criminals because you have chosen to call them that, right, sir?

"Yeah! Thankyou Rhodes." Natasha said smiling. If her friend was still defending her, maybe she had done the right thing, alleged a wrong way.

T. ROSS: My god, Rhodes, your talent of horseshit rivals my own.

RHODES: If it weren't for those Accords, Vision would've been right here.

"What accords?" Fury was having a hard time dealing with mess, all this half accessed information was making him frustrated.

"Don't we, all want to know"? Hill said eyeing Strange, she had a suspicion, the man knew.

T. ROSS: I remember your signature on those papers, Colonel.

RHODES:(slightly bitter) That's right. And I am pretty sure I have paid for that.( closes up on his braced legs)

"Shit!!" The outburst came from many people, Tony and Pepper being the loudest. Rhodes was staring at the screen, in shock.

T. ROSS: You have second thoughts?

RHODES: Not anymore.

"About the right thing, I don't know about this so called accords, but to hell to them, if they can stop me." Rhodey said determined, with Tony nodding beside in agreement. He was already mentally preparing a plan, to save his friend's legs.

[The fugitive Avengers enters. Vision supported by Falcon]

STEVE: Mr. Secretary.
