I'm dead...I'm definitely going to jail! No NO it's going to be ok. Just as long as Y/n doesn't find out...
The latch opens and Y/n climbs in.
Ah shit ah shit ah shit. Please don't know please please!
"Mari..."
"Yesss?" I give an awkward smile and lean against the desk.
"Lila is dead...did you hear about that?"
"Oh yeahhh, what a tragedy!"
"Tragedy? You think so?"
"Yeah...?" I feel myself starting to sweat.
"So you wouldn't have any clue to why or how she died?"
Does she know?... "NoPee no clue..." I shake my head and wipe my forehead. "Is it just me or is it getting hot in here?"
"Just you...your face is bright red."
"Maybe it's this shirt I'm wearing..."
"Or..."
I look at her, "or?"
She paces back and forth slowly. Then she points at me, "OR YOU ARE LYING TO ME!"
I gasp and laugh awkwardly, "HAHA ME? NOOO! I- I'm innocent!"
Y/n frowns and looks down, "I really thought we could be honest with each other..."
"And- and we CAN! I swear!"
"Then why are you lying to me?" she pleads.
"I didn't want you to see me any differently!"
"Mari...you KILLED someone!"
"Wasn't just someone..."
Y/n shakes her head, "the police will be searching all over Paris for you AND Chloe!"
I make a face, "did Chloe tell you? Is that how you found out?"
"Yes. She felt guilty."
"But it's LILA! She deserved it!"
"Yeah she's a bad person but killing her...that makes you even worse!"
"At least I don't have to deal with her bullying me anymore..." I sink into my chair.
She doesn't realize how much it affected me...
🥐 Adrien's POV 🥐
Where the heck is Plagg? He's ben exploring the house for awhile now.
I check my phone, it's 5 pm already. I put my phone down as father walks in.
"Adrien I have some sad news."
"What is it father?"
"Your classmate Lila Rossi was found dead. Do you have any clue to who could've killed her and why?"
He raises one eyebrow at me. I gulp because his face makes me nervous, "no I don't have any clue."
He frowns and walks out of my room.
Marinette doesn't like Lila but she would never hurt anyone, let alone kill. And she's Ladybug. So yeah no she could never!
Heh...
She's Ladybug.
I can't believe it was her all along...

I fly back to the white shelf that has a picture of Adrien's mom. Next to it was brooch that looks like a peacock. Could that be the miraculous? 👀
Should I just-
take it...
"Hmm now would Adrien probably kill me if I touched something of his father's? Yes. But would he forgive me if it's actually the miraculous? YeS! DUh I'm the best."
I carry the miraculous back. Then I stop and look down. I press my ear to the floor.
"That's it! Now fly away my little akuma, and evilise this mopey soul!"
"HUh?!" I fly threw the floor and I see a big dark space.
There's a clear tube that goes all the way down. I follow it. There's pretty flowers around this big case. I touch it and the glass opens.
"What in the name of STINKY CHEESE! IS THAT-"
Adrien's mom lays before me. Her delicate body lies perfectly in the case with a rose in her hand. I panic and drop the brooch.
"Ah bleepers!"
I follow it down and then I realize there's more to this place. I phase through the floor again and I see a bunch of white butterflies. They look like the akumas but white...
Then I see the egghead man standing infront of a big circular window. He's talking to himself...
Or maybe he's talking to the akumintized person...
OH SHOOT ADRIEN NEEDS ME TO TRANSFORM!
🥐 Adrien's POV 🥐
I look out the window to see an akumintization.
"Plagg where the heckles are you?!"
I turn around to Plagg panicking, "ADRIEN I SAW-"
"No TIME! Plagg, CLAWS OUT!"
🌸 Marinette POV 🌸
"Tikki, spots on! Look I have no time to argue right now! There's an akumintization!" I open the roof latch.
"Wait Mari! I'm sorry...it's just...I hate lying and secrets."
I sigh and climb back down the bed. I give her a long soft kiss on the lips, "it's ok. I understand." I leave her with a smile. Her face looks daze and I jump out onto the roof from the latch.
Ok so I'm clearly having some writers block for this story. I've been feeling like I've hit a dead end. So if I take awhile to publish another part it's because I'm trying to get some creative juices working for this story 😭🤚
As you can tell I've been trying to move the story along to get to the ending I want. Which I can't spoil. But yea, the Lila dying and Plagg seeing what he saw. I just need to plan more so it makes sense. And so it can be interesting!
