Chapter 4.

My alarm goes off once again to signal another day in the land of dinosaur.

I groan and turn it off, I look down to see Zach still sleeping soundly, his hair messy falling over his face as his mouth sits slightly agape,
He looks so peaceful when he sleeps, a lot less angry.

I plant a gentle kiss his forehead and I get up go to the bathroom,
I brush my teeth,
I do my hair,
Do my makeup,
All that jazz.
I slip on my outfit of the day and take one last look
In the mirror before heading into the main bedroom
I find myself making fashion choices based on whether Zach would like them or not,
But that's not weird I just value his opinions, right?

I walk out to see Zach and Gray are basically ready, surprisingly.

I look over to see that Zach is also ironically wearing the same colour as I am.
Great minds thinks alike.

"You know... we're kinda coordinating right now" he looks down grinning, holding his shirt between his fingers proudly like a little kid showing me his completed maths homework.

"Or you wanna be me so bad" I chuckle,
"what can I say i am a trend setter" I say taking a bow.

"(Y/n), sweetheart, I'm 7 months older than you... if anything I'm the trend setter" Zach shakes his head at my previous allegation, raising his eyebrows.

"You guys look stupid!" gray states fiddling with some sort of toy he bought in the gift shop yesterday.

"It's a Shame Gray's not matching too, we could've looked like a boy band that got rejected by the music industry" I say as I grab my bag throwing it over my shoulder.

Someone than knocks on our hotel room door, I open it assuming it's Zara but Clare walks into the room, Inviting herself in leaving the hotel door wide open, I assume she won't be staying long.

"Good morning kids!, having fun?" she asks putting on a superficial smile.

"Uh, yeah" Zach replies casually scratching the back of his neck, giving no further details.
God he can be so awkward sometimes.
But what's a social butterfly like me with out my socially anxious best friend?
Somebody has to step up and order food for him when we're out,
And that just happens to be me,
His knight in shining armour.

"It was great aunt Clare!, we seen the mosasaurs yesterday! did you know they could grow up to nearly 18 meters long? you probably did! and I also got this dinosaur rubiks cube!" grays shoves the rubiks cube in the puzzled woman's face, speaking so fast the words manage to merge together.

I attempt to stifle my giggle as me and Zach look at each other, him doing the same.
"Wow, okay... sounds exciting?" she says unsure of how to respond.

"Is Zara coming?" I ask since no one else will.

The woman turns to me her hands clasped together,
"Oh, um... no that's actually what I'm here to talk to you about, you guys are on your own today! so please for the love of god behave, but you'll most likely be seeing Zara tomorrow!" she says in one breath, almost like she rehearsed it.

"Are you not coming with us aunt Clare?" gray asks sadly,
"No I'm sorry, I can't... I've to head to work in...approximately 10 minutes" she exhales, checking her watch as she stoops to his height,

"Oh..." gray says disappointed.
She places a hand on Gray's shoulder as she gives him a sad smile.

"But... one of the days I promise to take you into the control rooms so you can see how we manage the park! that's fun right?" She asks unconvincingly.

"Okay" she sighs,
"I've gotta go, stay safe and most importantly stay out of trouble.. you hear me?, ring me if there's any problems!" she brushes herself off smiling as she leaves the room, giving a small wave goodbye.
