Pov: Felicity Rae

After those eventful events that just happened, I make my way to my class. Thankfully, as I walk into the room my eyes scan the room to finally meet a beautiful pair of dark brown eyes, I smile and head towards no other than Celia. As I sit down beside Celia she quickly notices my puffy under bags, under my eyes and my newly bruised wrist forming darker by the second, She gasps taking in the sight " Felicity what the hell happened to you'' she said lanced with worry in her voice " I'm fine I just banged my arm into my locker while closing it, don't worry it's just a bruise it will eventually fade anyways". I lied not wanting her to get worried or angered but she simply replied making an "mhmm" basically meaning " I don't believe you and we'll talk later".

I signed and turned my head towards the front of the class and started writing notes about the lesson... The day went pretty fast as it was coming to an end, Celia and I departed ways to get to our lockers... After I was done, I made my way to the front of the school to go towards the parking lot right then.

I spotted Celia talking to a guy, I giggled under my breath and made my way towards them," Hey'' I said timidly while I wasn't really good when it came to meeting new people but I caught their attention and Celia instantly smiled at me and the Guy she was talking to smirked down at me because of my obvious short height," Hey felicity"this is my new friend his name is "Andre ''She said as her cheeks were red as a tomato, "Nice to meet you'' I said with a smile, Andre just smiled and stared at me instantly it was kinda weird and I was feeling self-conscious with the burning gaze and with that Celia stepped up and said, "Andre text me when you wanna hang out". She winked and smiled not noticing what just happened but Andre just smiled and said " sure thing" giving me a second glance and with that walking away. After that Celia and I headed back to her car and hopped in blasting music and feeling worry-free just vibing.

Once we arrived at my house Celia stopped as I was about to hopped out of the car and then she asked if I wanted to come over to have dinner with her and her uncle me being me and not wanting to upset her or decline her offer I simply said "Yes I would love too'' with a smile adding the dimples to my cheeks to stand out. Once I got home, I decided to start to work on my homework, eventually, I was finished I decided to do my weekly chores which consisted of tidying the house doing laundry and making sure there's always something to eat in the fridge before I could even start the light bulbs completely went out, I mentally cursed myself "fudge nuggets'' after my short yet quick mentally breakdown.

I decided the wise decision was to make a quick stop at a local store nearby, So I grabbed my flower helmet with purple sprinkles on it. It's childish, but I think it's cute and you don't always have to grow up so fast, right? I guess? I don't know. But anyway, I grabbed my coat and purse and made my way out the doors towards the garage to retrieve my vintage purple bike.

I started riding my bike towards the store, 20 minutes later I finally arrived as I tied my bike to the closest pole with a lock and took my helmet off and carefully placed it in the basket. After I finally made my way into the store in search of light bulbs, Once I've found the aisle I picked up 2 pairs of bulbs and made my way to the checkout as I placed my stuff down I quickly took out my wallet to only hear " I'll pay for you, don't worry angel''. I looked up to see who was talking to me to realize it was him.

The guy who previously called me a whore today at school, I was about to respond to only be stopped by him " I wanted to say sorry for what I did to you, I should have never laid a hand on you ...gosh I'm an asshole (I thought to myself I mean he's not wrong ), I know that this shouldn't be an excuse for why I treated you like that but I had a lot of things I was dealing with today please forgive me''. He said with honesty and regret I simply responded by saying" It's okay we all have different battles we are facing right?''. He smiled and said " that's right, you honestly are an angel''. As amusement was in his tone, I just looked up and blushed before I could take the bag.

He took it from me and said, "Where do you live?." as he was walking out of his booth, I looked up at him like he was insane and said, "what about work?". He smiled down at me and said " angel my shift ended 2 minutes ago". I didn't respond once we walked out I remembered I rode my bike here in the first place and there was no need for him to drive me, I finally said "I rode my bike here so there's no need to drive me" he looked down at me as he said " don't I'll bring your bike back to your house tomorrow and secondly if you think I'll let you ride your bike back with your cute ass in a short dress with creeps you got another thing coming". As he said, leaving no room for argument.

We headed towards his car as he quickly opened the door for me and I mumbled a thank you and he responded with a deep chuckle as he made his way towards the driver's seat and started driving as I told him where I lived than later on leaned my head against the window, after a while, we finally made it towards my I house, I picked up my bag of the light Bulbs about to get out until he said..." where are your parents, why are the lights out?". I was contemplating If I should tell him the truth or lie, but I decided to tell him the truth by saying "They're on a business trip". I said with a hint of sadness in my tone as it was trembling, but with that, He quickly took my phone and started typing. As 2 seconds passed he said "Text me every night from now on. '' As he gave my phone back, I quickly looked at the contact he put himself as "Landon" I said in my thoughts, getting out of my thoughts I said a quick thank you and he responded by saying "anytime my angel" which sent my cheeks to beat red. Quickly I got in my house as I closed to the door thinking how did he start from "whore" to "my angel" I shrugged and snapped out of my thoughts as I remembered I have to get ready to go have dinner at Celia so I made it up to my room and thought to myself today was very eventful being that it was the first day back at school.
