Baji died and everything slowly went to shit in a way that Murasaki couldn't explain, even if she tried, the world stopped simultaneously when Baji's life was brought to a tragic end. Draken tried to console her as much as the rest of the guys but it was no use for Murasaki refused to eat or talk, she didn't do much but sit around and smoke or talk to Baji. "I know you're upset, we all are Murasakicchi." Mikey's voice was sad, a tone she wasn't used to hearing from him as he stood beside her in front of Baji's grave. Baji's body had been buried and put to rest not too long after the events of the Bloody Halloween gang war, she hadn't spoke a word since, Murasaki wouldn't talk to any of the boys. Draken couldn't get a word out of her at all, even Takemichi got a dull slow nod or a shake of head whenever he tried to talk to her, Mitsuya tried to get her to change out of that bloody Toman uniform but she refused. "You- can't keep standing still. Murasaki." Mikey had grabbed her arm, she was smoking a cigarette and finally looked Mikey in the eyes for the first time since Baji died. "I don't...know what to do. I tried to save them but I can't save everyone. Now that future isn't going to change." There was a far off look in her golden eyes, one that seemed to be full of regrets as Mikey stared up at her as she'd placed a lone cigarette on Baji's headstone. "I'm sorry Kei-chan, we couldn't save you this time..." She rubbed the tears out of her eyes as Mikey came up behind her, hugging her tightly as he placed his face in the small of her back. Nobody had been able to attempt to cheer her up, Kazutora would be in prison for years and they already lost three of the original founders of Toman so it was a major loss for her and everyone else. The next day Takemichi and Murasaki were both picked up by Pehyan after school to go to see Mitsuya, they both were given new fitted Toman uniforms custom made by Mitsuya and his sewing club. "Here, I hope it fits you Mura. I know you wouldn't change out of that old ratty one unless I have you a new one." Mitsuya put his hand on her head, patting her dark curls in a gentle manner as she stared down at him in confusion. "For me? But...why?" She asked as Mitsuya and Pehyan looked at her confused, "I figured you wouldn't remember but you helped found Toman too." The shorter gray haired boy explained to her as she slowly put it on, "I do, I do. I remember now. Kinda." Murasaki's face was a blank slate, no emotion on it at all before she'd smiled down at Mitsuya. "Thank you, Takashi." His face turned bright red as he slowly with shyness nodded at the taller girl, hugging Murasaki while she stared in awe as Pehyan clapped and took Takemichi and her to the rally that night. She didn't want to go and even tried to refuse but Takemichi would not allow it in the slightest, "Why are they here..." Murasaki had a deep scowl directed at Hanma and Kisaki, Hanma happily waved and went up to her with Kisaki in tow as the two smiled at the tall girl. "Good to see you too Princess. I'm surprised you got up after that fall." Kisaki had a grin on his face as she tried to not hit him but always when the other Toman members were out of ear shot that Kisaki and Hanma said reckless shit. "I was surprised too, Hime-chan. That fall shoulda killed ya~!" Hanma wore his shit eating smirk as he put his hands on top of Murasaki's quite broad shoulders. "That's enough, we're all here to conclude Bloody Halloween. Leave Mura be. Now come on." Mikey barked out, making both back up from the tall girl who sent them a hard look and did her best to not kill the two idiots. Everyone including Murasaki was in full blown shock when Mikey and Hanma gave the entirety of Toman a newsflash, Valhalla would join the ranks of Toman by Mikey's agreement, now the gang would get bigger. "What? You-I." Murasaki tried to speak as Hanma got up in her face, his tall form looming as she grit her teeth showing her canines to the taller boy in a show of anger. There was nothing she could or Takemichi could do, paired with the low blows of Baji dying, Kisaki, Hanma, the future which Mura knew of and desperately tried to change every chance she got. Nothing made sense to Murasaki anymore, the memories she had of the future were messy and vague which she'd told Takemichi about but he had so much to do so she often got left to her own devices. Mostly she ended up wandering around town alone by herself, smoking cigarettes, it would be late at night when Mikey and Draken found her alone near the river. "What are you doing? It's late." A fat off voice called as she stared into the dark abyss of the riverbed, it seemingly beckoned her. Mikey was talking to her, "I was thinking of throwing myself into the river." Murasaki didn't even look back at them as Draken stared down at Mikey, his form approaching her shorter one hesitantly. "Let's get you home Mura." Drakens hand on her shoulder was immediately shoved off, her hand grabbing his harsh and rough like it was a parasite touching her. "Do you know, I loved him. He couldn't even tell me y'know who did? Chifuyu. At his grave." Mikey grimaced at the words spilling out of Murasaki's red lips as she spun around revealing a tear stained face. "It's not fair. We have to be here and he's gone just gone!" She was crying harder as Draken's eyes widened, they all took it badly but Mura would never be able to get over it even years after Baji's passing. "You can't leave me and I won't let you. My big bro and Baji are together and if you were with them my big bro would be sad so please..." The short boy put his hands up to her cheeks, small, calloused fingers were wiping away her tears. "Don't die too." Mura's sobs echoed across Shibuya, she always cried the most, a crybaby just like Takemichi since they were so similar. Draken and Mikey drove her back home that night, as she walked into her house they sat on their bikes whilst Mikey stared up at her bedroom window. "Kazutora almost did the same thing." Draken spoke up slowly unsure of what Mikey would say, "We won't let her. Murasaki belongs to Toman so don't worry Ken-chin." Mikey had that far off, darkened look in his eyes once more just like when he'd lost Baji or got into a fight. "Do you love her, Mikey?" The tall boy asked seriously, "I think I'm in love with Murasakicchi and I have been since we'd been kids. Baji loved her too, I know most of us do but..." Mikey trailed off, lost in thought with Draken standing stock still besides him as they basked in the silence. "I wanted her to myself, it doesn't work like that though." For years he denied it, even when they were kids Mikey had chased Murasaki's back but Baji was so in love with her it would've been a huge betrayal. "Mikey! Oi Mikey!" A slightly taller girl appeared in front of Mikey and Baji, they were both playing on the jungle gym when Murasaki ran up to the two to show them something. "What's in your hand?" Mikey jumped down Baji trodding behind him, "Look! Hehe it's a beetle!" Murasaki was full of giggles and then, Baji snatched the beetle out of her hands effectively shocking the girl. "K-Kei-chan!" Her small voice croaked out as Baji squished it like it was nothing, "Girls shouldn't pick up bugs or play with them!" Baji's angry barking tone had Murasaki in tears as Kazutora and Baji started to laugh at her. "Haha she's crying already!" A teasing Kazutora poked at her before suddenly Mikey kicked Baji, hard as he could, sending the boy flying. "Don't make Mura cry again got it?" Mikey was angry now, "Mura isn't yours! I can do whatever I want to her!" Murasaki was still crying but that day ended up as the day a long standing feud began between Baji and him over Murasaki. "Do you remember the day Baji made youcry?" Mikey asked softly, both of them were sat in front of Baji's grave, Mura's small form hunched over a bit as she sat criss cross beside the left of Mikey. "Not really..Iknow you kissed my cheek to make me feel better but that's it." He began to blush, "I did? Huh.....I guess I got that  from my big bro didn't I." She blew the smoke of her cigarette up to the sky and looked over to Mikey. "I love you, Manjiro." The once bleak, dark charcoal eyes had widened substantially, Mikey just couldn't believe that her soft red lips met his cracked ones and he felt at peace. "I love you so much..." Mikey pulled away just to say it and leaned in to kiss her again, and he did it again as Murasaki dropped her cigarette in the process as his hand held the side of her face gently. Hearing Mura, confess to him was something Mikey had never dreamed of in his lifetime but he felt slightly less dead, feeling to seemed foreign to Mikey but kissing Murasaki, was worth it.
