Chapter 5

Messy Situations

Taehyung's POV

Theres a heavy weight pulling down my shoulders, my posture is bent as I walk through the schools hallway. Though my body is tired my eyes stay awake, after yesterday I can't see Namjoon. We're on different paths and he's not understanding of mine. He can't get it through his mind that Uni actually means something to me, that we have something special. I'm aware its different than with Sunny and I but it's still special.

She's special to me.

"Taehyung!" I hear someone call out to me as I turn the corner. From their high pitch tone I knew it was Jungkook, I slowed down my walk allowing him to catch up to me. "Hey hyung." He says once next to me.

I turn my head to him. "Hey." The words don't come out as excited as I hope they would. Jungkook caught on right away pushing his eyebrows into one.

"You're happy to see me..." Jungkook mumbles.

"I'm happy to see that you're not Namjoon." We continue walking down the hallway as I keep my eye out for the said man. I need time to cool off after our argument and don't need anymore judgment from him.

The younger ruffles his hair confused from my response. "You guys got into a fight?" It comes to my attention that Jungkook hasn't spoken much about my situation and this only makes me question his opinion.

I harshly turn more of my body to face him as we walk. My glare is more intense and I hear his saliva run down his throat a little anxious. "What do you think about me and Uni?" His expression quickly changes. Soft eyes widen and brows raise, Jungkook wasn't expecting to ever be asked this question and now that it's been said he doesn't know the right response.

"Um.." He starts and I focus my eyes on him. "Are you happy?"

"Well, yeah."

Jungkook lowers his face. "Hyung, are you happy?"

Quickly the eye contact breaks and I stare back to the hallway. "W-why are you asking me like that?"

He shrugs. "If you're genuinely happy with Uni and over Sunny then I think the situation is fine. But with everything you went through last year, I wouldn't rush into a new situationship if you're not ready. Sure you cheated with Uni but what if she's the one? You don't want to miss your opportunity because Namjoon is telling you to only date Sunny." Jungkook's face relaxes, he's satisfied with the answer he provided. His eyes turns back to the hallway.

What if she's the one?

Jungkook's words stick with me, he's opened a whole different side to the situation. Maybe Namjoon really does think I should only be with Sunny, I mean he's trying so hard to end things with Uni and I. If I need to move on I can do it with her, she actually understands me and what I went through. She wants to build me up from it and help me move on. She's the partner I need right now and I don't know if she's the one, but she's the only one I have right now.

Satisfied I nod then Jungkook speaks again. "I feel like if I ask if Sunny is still in your heart you might lie. Ask yourself and that's the true answer to your question." Jungkook looks to his right and notices he's at his classroom. He takes a second to smile at me, a comfort smile he knows I could use before disappearing with the other students.

Namjoon POV

The hallways becomes more empty as the school day ends. The walk to the gym is quicker than usual with all the missing students.

Finally I make it and find Seulgi reading the words on her clipboard. Slowly I approach from behind her. She's focused making sure everything on her paper is correct when I place my hand on her waist and taze her with my fingers.
