1 || A Hero For Fun?

Bored, bored, bored. It was all in Saitama's mind. Even his 'favorite' TV show was getting boring. He yawned and sighed right after. Before he was about to turn off the TV, an emergency broadcast appeared on his screen.

News Reporter: "Attention! A dragon disaster level monster is now in City Z! Please remain inside your houses and stay silent."

Saitama got up from his bed and went to get his hero costume.

Saitama: "Jeez, what's even the point? I'm just gonna defeat it in one punch again.."

News Reporter: "Anyone inside convenience or grocery stores, please evacuate! This monster targets them for unknown reasons. I repeat. Evacuate convenience and grocery stores immediately!"

Saitama slowly turned to the screen, then back at the door.

Saitama: "No.. he's gonna ruin my 80% discount on beef ribs!"

Saitama: Oh wait, that grocery store is in City X, so it's all good." He said in relief.

News Reporter: "As of now, the monster is in City X. Anyone in City X will be evacuated by the heroes!"

Saitama put his knuckles together.

Saitama: "Let's kick some *ss." 

Saitama dashed towards City X, he arrived in just under a millisecond. Genos was also there. Looking at all the debris and chaos the monster has caused.

Genos: "Sensei, what should we do with him?"

Saitama: "Let's pulverize him." He held his fist and pointed it directly to the monster.

Genos: "Affirmative."

As the monster stopped to look at the time. Genos jumped kicked him into rubble, startling the monster. Saitama trailed along.

Monster: "What the hell? Get off me-!"

Bonk! Genos karate chopped the monster making him groan in pain.

Saitama: "YOU DESTROYED MY FAVORITE CONVENIENCE STORE!! I WAS ABOUT TO BUY THOSE BEEF RIBS YOU SWINE!"

The monster created a dark purple sphere and forcefully placed it on him, then he vanished. He reappeared on top of a small building.

Monster: "You fools! Don't you underestimate a disciple of Lord Bo.. I mean uh, Lord Boorus!"

Saitama: "Weird name but ok. Why must you ruin my planned dinner for tonight?"

Monster: "Oh, is it the super juicy tender Mama's Beef Ribs?"

Saitama: "DAMN RIGHT IT IS THE SUPER JUICY TENDER MAMA'S BEEF RIBS!"

Monster: "I don't care, for now, DIE!" He began throwing many spherical energy towards Genos and Saitama, both dodging with no effort.

After a few throws, Saitama was already bored again. What's the point of avenging something that's already been destroyed?

Saitama squinted his eyes at the hurdling sphere. It missed him and hit a nearby building. Expecting it to explode, instead, it imploded slightly and didn't leave any traces of the part.

Saitama had an idea. He aligned himself perfectly, he planned to get hit intentionally. He wanted to see if this was what he think it was. The sphere made contact with his abdomen, unfortunately, he didn't feel a thing.

But, he soon saw different colors. Dark green, blue, and purple. Like he was struck by a black hole. But, it wasn't painful.

After a few moments, he was in a white room with faces he hasn't seen before. The one he had attention on the most is a blond-looking skeleton.

The people got up with confused looks, but still posed as a defensive stance. 

The black haired man used his bandage-like scarf, quickly restraining him. Though, it didn't matter to Saitama, so he played along.

???: "Alright, tell us who you are before you get beat like a pulp."

???: "Aizawa, stay calm!" The blond skeleton said while holding out his hand, signaling Aizawa to ease up the restraints.

Saitama: "Woah dude, you look like you haven't slept in weeks."

The blond skeleton stood up from his seat. He furrowed his eyebrows.

???: "Now, who are you?"

Saitama: "Saitama, a hero for fun."

???: "A hero for fun? A hero's work isn't for fun! It's a hero's duty save others and keep evil from breaking peacefulness!" Said a woman who looks like she doesn't even look like a hero.

???: "Where are you from?" He continued.

Saitama: "Earth. Where else would I be from?"

???: "He meant what country and/or city."

Saitama: "City Z."

???: "Is this some kind of joke? Just cause you're a hero from where you're from, doesn't mean we'll see you as a hero like us."

???: "You could be a criminal in a city of criminals for all we know."

Saitama: "Cliché."

Saitama: "For your information. I'm a hero, like you guys. Now tell me, where the hell am I?"

???: "Musutafu, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan."

Saitama's eyes widened a bit.

Saitama: 'Ah, I heard that place in a manga I finished a few hours ago..'

Saitama: "And I assure you, I am no bad guy." He added.

The heroes looked at each other then back at Saitama, who was still restrained. The blond skeleton looked at Aizawa and signaled him to let go of the restraints.

Aizawa: "Well, we still don't trust you. We don't just assume you're a good guy that easily.."

Saitama: "Well, no sh*t, Sherlock." 

Toshi: "Anyways, I'm Toshinori Yagi. Or, you can call me Toshi."

Toshi: "Currently, you're in UA, the prestigious hero school in Japan."

Saitama's eyes lit up. Hero school? This could be it, a place where he could find an opponent with equal strength!

Saitama: "Hero, school..?"

Toshi: "Yes.. why'd you ask?" He said while raising an eyebrow.

Saitama: "Nothing. Just curious."

Toshi: "So, you're not from here?"

Saitama: "Said it earlier, will say it again. Yes."

Toshi: "Well then, anyone mind explaining-" He looked around the room, to see nobody there.

Toshi: "Where did they go?" He said worriedly.

Saitama: "They left like, a minute ago. How come you didn't notice?"

Toshi was too lost with his words. He was quickly trying to make a great response. Saitama was headed towards the door.

Toshi: "Wh-where are you going?"

Saitama: "I don't know. I guess I'll check this school."

Toshi: "Well uh, I'll show you around. Since, I know people who are new in UA can get lost really easily.

Saitama smiled. Even though he had just met Toshi, he knew that he and Toshi will be great friends. Two powerful beings being friends is a great sight to see.
