"So why am I the one who has to go into a nightclub?" I ask the team as I get ready
"You are the only female of the team" Derek say
"Excuse me and what about Garcia?" I tell him
"Come on Prentiss, Penelope is a shunsine and you know that she needs to be protected all cost" he responds
"Well and I'm not?" I inquire teasing him as I finish putting my red hells on
" We both know that you are perfectly capable of protecting yourself in there" he answers waiting on the other side of the door
"At least I bring my gun" I announce as i open the door
"Whoa girl, you are sure that this is going to be an undercover mission and not trying to get some" Morgan teases me as he puts his eyes on me
"What can I say, if I get the chance I won't push it away" I reply winking at him
"I'm not sure if you are allowed, and give me the gun" he tells me
"Whatever, let's go" I say entering the club and giving him the my gun
I scan the club and immediately see one of the possible unsubs talking to another girl
"guys im sure it's him" I repeat it two times in case
'Prentiss, we are not sure, plus is way too late as the unsub to chose his next victim is taking too much and the girl doesn't looks convinced' Hotch says into the ear pin
'Rossi is looking at another possible unsub at the other club, we have a chance with it, so abort the mission' He adds
'Oh Prentiss, the fun is gone' Morgan jokes as he laughs on my ear
"You know what, I'll stay here for a little bit" I say as the waitress has catches my attention since I stepped on this club
'Hotch is going to be-
"It's on me, come on Derek go back,don't wait for me outside, I want to enjoy myself, so night" I say as I don't even wait for a response before taking off my ear pin
I walk towards the bar and the waitress immediately comes to me
"what can I get you beautiful?" She ask me
"Surprise me" I respond
"Uh, okay then, wait a moment" she says as she prepares me a drink
"Here you have, enjoy the night" she says a few moments later as she leaves the drink in front of me
I take the drink and look around the bar to search for Trent Darric, who is our possible unsub but I don't see him anymore
"So what brings you here, any friend around?" the same barenther days as I come back to the bar
"Nothing especial I guess that I was bored with having a Friday night alone and decided to come here to pass the time" I explain it to her
"Maybe you won't have to be alone tonight" a random man says as he seats next to me
"Who knows, any interesting guys around here?" He asks me as I turn around looking at the dance floor, I look at the same girl that made me the drink, she is busy, I look at the man and take a sip of my drink
"Hey did you put in here, I'm getting very tired by the moment" I say as I fell my body shutting out a little bit
"Nothing sweets" he replies on the distance as he grabs my arms
"Jonh fuck off before I call the police" the blonde girl from before states, I have never been more glad for a pretty stranger before
"Hey honey can you hear me, are you okay, here drink some water?" the same girl says as she hands me a glass, letting me go behind the bar
"Thank you um.." I trail off, a little bit better but still dizzy
"JJ" she replies taking the glass away
"JJ, such a pretty name, im so tired now" I say, noticing now the effects of the spiked drink
"Maybe you have been awake for too long, do you want to crash on the old couch that I have behind?" She asks me
"Okay thank you" I say as she guides me to the back of the club, taking one of my hands
"The pleasure is all mine darling" she responds in a gravelly voice
"Now, how about I'll wake you when I finish my turn and drive you home later" she adds
"Uh oh, I'm staying at a motel, I'm not from here" I reply as she covers me with a blanket
"I'll drive you there then, I know this town like the palm of my hand" she responds
"You are like an angel" I mutter as she passes me another blanket
"I'm not called that too much.." she trails off because I didn't tell her my name yet
"Emily, Emily Prentiss" I reply as she smiles
"Well Emily Prentiss, I hope that you have a great nap while I finish my work" she says
"Wait" I say as she turns around and puts herself at my height
"Thank you" I repeat but this time kissing her, a short peck
"Um, I didn't expect that, do you kiss every person that lets you crash and take a nap?" She inquires getting up
"Um no, only pretty people like yourself, plus I'm drunk right now, I'll forget it when I wake up" I say as my eyes begin to close, now that the drug is kicking in
"So, i have to go back to work, but I'll come in a few hours,until then don't move from here" she says as she locks the door
Should I be scared of this girl?
She seems nice and what the hell, I'm a FBI agent, I can with a cute girl like her, but right now I should sleep, sleep seems like the best option now.
I will rethink my options when she comes looking for me, maybe I can have a chance to use the dress after all
