"Jareau, go to my office right away" Dan commands when I shut the door where Emily lies asleep

"Is some thing wrong Dan?" I inquire entering his office

"Yes it is, Jareau, you have a lot of vacations days pent up, you told me years ago that you were going to take a year long trip and take them all, what happend to that?" He asks me showing my working hours

"I just like to work here I guess, it's my responsibility when Jess is not here" I tell him

"For now on I can't let you work more without taking all of those days off JJ, I know that you like this you, heck you are the best here but I need you to rest, get yourself out, get a hang of your life, you can't continue living for work" he states

"And how many days do I have to take until you let me back?" I inquire scratching my neck and looking at those red circles in my job hours

"For now how about a month off between work days, a month in and a month off, then you could still come to work and have another month off to do whatever you like" he announces

"It's fine by me, oh and I have to tell you something" I say before I forget

"What, you finally got yourself a girl?" He jokes at me

"Um, not yet but I do have one sleeping in the break room, John tried again with another one and she drank it, so I offered her to sleep it off until she felt better" I explain him as he nods

"We should put that bastard a restraining order from this place, I'm going to do it right now, you know anything about that girl, is she from around the town?" He inquires

"Um no, she told me that she has rented a motel nearby, I offered myself to drive her there, if you don't need nothing more, I have to go back to help Ray" I tell him as I see more people coming

"You know what, go inside the break room and stay with the girl, check if she is better amd drive her, start with your vacations day, you deserve a rest" he states

"Dan that was not th-

"Do as I say Jareau or I'll fire you" he threatens me jokingly

"Okay okay, have a good month I guess, I'll be back in June" I say as he nods looking at his computer

"Hey Jareau a little help here" Ray says as people are in all the bar yelling at him

"Be more quick Ray, Jareau has to go home, I'll go down in a little and help you out" Dan shouts from his office as I was going to start to help him

"Sorry mate, I have things to do" I say

"Yeah like the girl who is awake in the break rooms" he comments

"She is awake?" I inquire as he nods

I go towards the back and open the door that is now easily to open

"Hey Emily, change of plans I can drive you now" I tell her as I take off my shirt quickly and put on the one I took from home

"Why, don't tell me that they have fired you for me?" She asks me worried

"No no, I just had a lot of vacations time and my boss wanted me to take a month off, starting today after I explained him why you were here" I tell her as I turn around and she is with a more relaxed position

"I can take a cab, I'm feeling more comfortable now" she states

"Oh no, this was the club fault, we should have resigned the entrance to John, it's not the first time he does something like that" I tell her as she nods

"How many times does he done that, because I heard that a serial killer is killing off women he meets at night clubs here?" She inquires

"I guarantee you that it's not that scumbag, he seems to idiotic to do that" I comment as i put my work attire inside my locker

"Sometimes the more dumb they are the more crazy they became when they kill" she comments

"Did you read that somewhere?" I inquire as she nods her head

"It's very informative to know about serial killers, I read about them so I know why they do the things they do" she explains me

"Uh, I never became interested as to why someone has to kill" I respond as she lets out a giggle

"We can go now I suppose" I state as she gets up

"Follow me now, there are a lot of people outside" I add as she grabs my hand

"Hey Jareau, good luck with the girl and enjoy it as I can't do that" Ray yells when he sees us exit the room

"Good luck to you Ray, we both know that the boss is not going to come down to help" I shout back

"Don't let go of my hand okay" I remind her as I go passing the people that are here

"Whoa I have never seen so many people here" she comments once we are in the street

"It's what 6am does to people who don't want to go home I guess" I reply as I locate my car and I open the door for her

"Thank you JJ, so what made you wanted to be a bartender?" She asks me as I start to drive

"I always like to do that I guess, I dropped out of the university and Dan offered me a job and the rest is history is guess" I explain her as she nods

"You have to turn left here and there is it" she says as she points out a luxurious motel we have in town

"We have arrived then, uh do you mind if I go with you to your room, to make sure you arrive alright?" I ask her, she happily nods as we exit the car, entering the motel and greeting the receptionist as we pass

"So goodnight then" I tell her once we arrive to her door

"Do you want to come in?" She asks me

"No" I answer very quickly

"No?" She inquires confussed

"No, let me explain myself, it's not because you don't look attractive, you look mesmerizing by the way, it's because I usually I'm not the type of person who has a a one night stand, so I hope that you have a good sleep" I add

"That was the most sweet rejection I have seen in a while" A man's voice comes from behind me

"Derek, you didn't have to wait up" she tells the man

"I was getting worried Em" he replies her

"Um are you two together?" I ask as I look between them

"Oh no no, he is just one of the friends i told you I came with" Emily clarifies

"Well goodnight to the both of you then" I say

"Aren't you going to give this girl you phone number?" He asks her as she quickly writed it down

"I was too before you interrupted us" she says as she looks at him annoyed

"Oh don't fell obligated too-

"JJ shut it and here you have, good night to you too, maybe we could see again" she replies as she shuts the door of her room bringing the man with her

I walk back to my car with the piece of paper she had given me, now I just have one more thing to do
