Mr. Gardners POV
Thursday 8:30pm
TW: angst, slight abuse?
All he's had on his mind was you. He knew it was not good (and legal) too be seeing a student. You entranced him. No other woman had pleased him as much as you did.
He was sitting at a local bar, sipping his bourbon when a tall woman in a short, tight skinned dress walked up to him.
"Hey big boy. You look lonely. I can fix that." She winks, running her hand up and down his thigh.
"No thank you." He states, pushing her hand off.
"What's wrong? Gotta wife? I won't say anything." She smirks, putting her hand back.
"I said No thank you." He says in a cold tone, gritting his teeth at her. "Now leave."
Her eyes widen at the sudden harsh tone he had, walking away to go bug another lonely, drunk man. He turns back to the bar, finishing his last bourbon.
He gets up, and beeps his car. He hops in and heads back to his house. When he pulls up, he sees a car in his driveway.
"Fuck. Why is she here?" He parks next to the car, walking in the door. There he sees his drunk ex wife lounging on the couch, watching his tv.
"How the fuck did you get in my house, Laura." He says, angry.
She turns around to look at him. "I just was in the mood to come see my husband."
"We're divorced, and I have a restraining order against you. I should be calling the cops right now." He huffs.
She gets up from the couch, and drunkly sways her hips towards him.
"Come on. I know you miss me." She smirks, running her hands up and down his chest. He grabs her wrists, stopping her motions.
"I'm seeing someone right now." He says.
She grew furious, "You're cheating on me?!". She lifted her hand and slapped him across his face. She drunkly punches his chest, trying to hurt him.
"We're divorced!" He exclaims, shoving her away.
"Y-You shoved me! Assault Assault!" She yelled. "Help Help!"
He walked over to the landline, dialing 9-1-1.
"911 what's your emergency?"
"Hi hello. My drunk ex- wife is at my house and I have a restraining order against her. She is not supposed to be within 40 feet of me, or come back to my house."
"Ok. What's the address?"
"3846 Barkley Rd."
"We will have a officer over there in a moment."
"Thank you. Have a good night."
He hung up the phone, walking to sit on his couch, ignoring the wailing lady on the floor. He sat there for 15 minutes, watching the news while his ex wife was fake crying on the floor. Soon, there was a knock on the door. She shot up to her feet, and walked over to the door. She wiped her tears, before answering the door.
"Hello. Is a Nathan Gardner here?" The officer asks.
"Ye-" he started walking towards them when she cut him off. "Im afraid not. Maybe you got the wrong house".
The officer caught eyes with Nathan behind him, he was nodding this was the right place.
"Miss. You are under- arrest for violating this mans restraining order against you. Anything you say can and will be used against you in the court of law." The officer stated, cuffing her wrists.
"No let me go!" She screamed, getting pushed into the police car. Nathan closed the door, walking over to his kitchen. He looked through his cupboards till he found his whiskey, taking the bottle with him. He plopped down in the recliner, drinking the past hour away.
