Dimension Reise

The Higher Entities are drunk off their asses and dump Hadria in the Fantastic Beasts (movie) dimension. Hadria continues to drive everyone up the wall as usual.

Hadria sat up and looked around. Her surroundings weren't the least bit familiar. The clothes people had dressed up in around her reminded her of the early twentieth century. No one batted an eye, especially after she fell out of the sky and landed in New York, (she realised after catching sight of the familiar roads and buildings). Wait, how did she end up here? This was getting ridiculous. Being a twelve-year-old girl without guardians spelt trouble for her. For one, she had to register with the MACUSA and she couldn't very well tell them that her guardian was Gellert Grindelwald. For another, she didn't know whether she was in the same dimension or not. And Gellert would be pissed as hell, if he found out that she had time travelled, ( or dimension travelled. This was getting complicated ). She had to be resourceful and find out why and how she ended up here. Then, get a ride back home.

She remembered her conversations with Newt Scamander in her previous life. He had described his part in the war against Grindelwald in great detail, after she badgered him for hours about the old days. She walked around trying to find out the date, when she found a newspaper. She picked it up and found that the date was the 25th of November in 1926. The newspaper was interesting though. There was an article about a Mary Lou Barebone, and the children she adopted. They were trying to expose witchcraft, the paper mocked. Barebone. Where had she heard that name? Oh right. Newt mentioned an obscurus whose surname was Barebone. He was probably one of her children, if she recalled correctly. Credence Barebone had perished with his adopted family according to Newt. This meant that she was currently not in her own dimension, and had also time travelled to the past. Well, that's one problem she had the answer to. Dealing with an obscurus was dangerous, as Gellert had repeatedly drilled into her brain, when they ran into one in Mongolia. Maybe she could befriend it.

Hadria walked into a side alley and tried calling out for Scath to fetch her. He didn't appear at all, which meant that either he was busy collecting souls, or he couldn't interfere in whatever was going on. She could go to MACUSA and tell them that she was a time traveller and needed help going home, but that could go south really quickly. No one would take a twelve-year-old seriously. She could probably go to Gringotts, but she didn't know where that was. And even then, the goblins may not be able to help her with this. Still, that was worth trying. The goblins had come through many times. The Higher Entities had to be really bored, for them to dump her in the past in the middle of a war. She was really and truly stuck now. She wished Gellert was here.

WAIT!! Gellert was here! Right here in New York if she remembered it right. She just had to get to him, and that would get the attention of the Higher Entities. And if he was anything like her Gellert, her puppy dog eyes routine would work on him. Even if it didn't, well this was going to be brilliant! Hadria's eyes twinkled mischievously at the thought of getting one over everyone.

Hadria walked out with a pouch full of galleons. Her plan to reach Gringotts on one of the escaped magical beasts was a brilliant idea. The Niffler had hitched a ride along with her, once she told it where she would be going. Too bad, it couldn't get in because of the Goblin's wards against their species. It would have been hilarious. She portkeyed to the Woolworth Building, headed into the main room of the MACUSA, and took in the beautiful sight of the building's interior. There was a monument with four columns with Phoenix statues in the centre. She approached a witch heading for the elevators, and asked, "Excuse me, do you know where Mr. Graves is? My guardian has a meeting scheduled with him, and I'm supposed to meet him there. But I don't know the way to his office."
