it was y/ns first day of hogwarts
"all the compartments are full" said y/n frustrated
oh theres ron!
"hi ron!" y/n said relieved, she turned her head to look at the raven haired boy with glasses. whos your friend?
"this is harry potter y/n!" ron claimed excitedly
"um hello.. "harry said shyly
"hi! im y/n weasley, rons sister."y/n said
"h-hello y/n nice to meet you." said harry stuttering
y/n went ahead and sat down next to her brother
"anything from the trolly dears?"said the lady
"no thanks we are all set."said y/n and ron with a fake smile holding up a sandwich
harry looked at their faces and said "we'll take the lot"
"harry you dont have to"said y/n her voice sounding guilty
ron looked at the shimmering galleons and said 'WOAH'
y/n elbowed him in the stomach
"OUCH Y/N!"said ron
"this is scabbers by the way, pathetic isnt he?" said ron
"just a little bit."whispered harry
"fred gave me a spell to turn him yellow, want to see?"said ron
"yeah!"exclaimed harry excitedly
ron cleared his throat "sun-"
suddenly a bushy haired girl ran into the compartment
"has anyone seen a toad? a boy named nevilles lost one."she said
"no."exclaimed the three
"oh! are you doing magic? lets see then!"said the girl
ron cleared his throat again "sunshine daisys butter melo turn this stupid fat rat yellow!"
said ron, but nothing happened
harry frowned
the girl laughed, "are you sure thats a real spell? well its not very good is it? of course i've only tried a few simple ones myself, but they've all worked for me, she put her wand to harrys glasses for example oculus reparo."and with a sound, glasses were fixed
"woah.."whispered ron
"oh my god! your harry potter! im hermione granger and you two are?" said the girl
"um ron weasley."ron said with a mouthful of candy
"y/n weasley, nice to meet you. "y/n put her hand out
"pleasure". said hermione and shook y/ns hand
"you three better change into your robes, i expect we'll be arriving soon."she said as she walked out of the compartment
