Chapter 2:

Blair glares at Minerva who stands next to Hermione.

"Do you like reading, Hermione?"

"Yes,"

Minerva smiles and points to her in the direction of her personal library. Blair watches her bounce away and out of sight.

"You were serious in taking her,"

Minerva crosses her arms, "They had not move once, but twice both times because of Hermione accidental magic,"

"Your point being...?"

Minerva narrow her green eyes, "Teach her and I will tell you what happened during the time you were gone,"

"You do know I manage to get this position because of my natural ability as a seer, right?"

Minerva glances around and smirks, "There nothing for you to use to do that and your magic will get notice by others,"

"There is no one around for kilometers,"

"Your magic is anything, but weak and I had to obliviate twenty wizards from the ministry when you got angry a few days ago,"

Blair grumbles as Minerva sighs, "Please do it for that child,"

"My way of teaching is different since I don't wave a stic-" Minerva glares, "I mean a wand around."

Minerva pinches the bridge of her nose, "Just get to helping her control her magic,"

"Alright,"

...

Blair leans against the doorframe of the library while Hermione sits on the floor surrounded by books.

"How many have you read?"

Hermione looks up and smiles.

"Princess,"

Blair frowns, at least is better than pretty bird. She walks closer to Hermione, "I am not a princess,"

Hermione tilts her head, "But you look like one," Blair smiles taking a seat, "You are sweet, but princesses live in big home full of people. My home wasn't like that there were people, but they wouldn't talk much,"

"That must have been lonely,"

Blair shrugs, "Sometimes. Now we should work on your magic," and every book around Hermione floats and closes itself before it puts itself back on the shelf.

"Wow! How did you do that without a wand or even a spell?"

"I don't depend on a wand to control my magic or a spell to tell it what it should do. But don't get me wrong I can use spells, but they are more complicated and some require a lot,"

Hermione nods.

"The first thing is being able to control your magic,"

"How?"

Blair stands up and grabs a random book from the shelf and puts it on the ground in front of Hermione. "Focus your thoughts on the book and make it do anything," Blair says and stand back.

Hermione glances between the book and Blair who nods.

Hermione takes a deep breath and exhales. Eyes focus on the book that even she trembles.

You don't need to stare at it so hard. Blair brows knit together, worriedly.

After a few minutes the book shot up straight to the ceiling and who knows if it made it out.

"I am so sorry,"

Blair shakes her head, "I told you to do it I just simply didn't expect it to be that strong and hope that book wasn't-"

"Why bloody hell is the hole in my ceiling?!" Minerva shouts from a floor above them.

Which lead to a lecture to the both of them on not using books for that and made them go find the book. Which it did broke through the ceiling and went outside.

Blair didn't have to be told twice and grab Hermione's hand taking her outside.

"Is she angry? Will she send me back to my parents?" Hermione asks looking down. Blair bends down, lifts Hermione's head with two fingers.

"She will not stay angry for long and I know she is surprise of what you manage to achieve that she wouldn't send you back,"

Hermione sniffs, "But I broke the ceiling,"

"Yes, which proves that you are aware of your magic and can use it at command. I honestly didn't expect you to do anything to the book because magic at your age wouldn't manifest your command only if something emotional happens that your magic does something."

"So, I am good at it?" Blair smiles and gives one of Hermione's hand a squeeze, "Yes and with potential that would be an honor to train you as one of my Priestess,"

Hermione eyes widen, "I can be like you!"

Blair chuckles, "You already plan on replacing me?"

Hermione giggles. Blair stands up, "You can decide on that later so let's focus on finding that book because I am hungry."

Hermione smiles and nods.
