Aaron's POV
"So, Hotch, what do you think we should do?" Rossi asks, not looking up from the file in his hand. I pinch the bridge of my nose and continue pacing.
"I think we should leave but stay vigilant about this MO. There are ongoing cases back at Quantico that need our attention," I stop pacing and look at my team.
"Wheels up in 30." As I leave the conference room, my phone rings.
"Hotchner."
"Um Hotch, you guys need to come back, quick," Garcia says, somewhat nervously.
"Why, what's happened?" My mind starts to race.
"There's been a murder here, with the same MO as the one in Baltimore."
"Okay, We'll be there shortly. Thanks, Garcia." I quicken my pace and head to the car.
Once everybody is on the plane, I call Garcia.
"Garcia, we need to know everything about the murder," I say sternly. Reid looks at me confused, not knowing what murder I'm referring to.
"Okay, so last night the Virginia police responded to a noise complaint in a suburban neighborhood and when no one answered the door, they went in and found the body of 27 year- old Ryan Johnson. He was beaten to death."
"What song was playing, Garcia?" Reid asks.
"Take Me Out To The Ballgame by Gene Kelly."
"So the weapon of choice could be a baseball bat," Morgan says, standing up. "Were there any drugs in his system, baby girl?"
"No, Mr. Hottie there were none, however, he was last seen at a bar that I just sent the address to on your handheld devices."
"Thanks, sweetness." He hangs up the phone and looks around. "Why would the unsub change locations?"
"Maybe to throw us off?" JJ questions.
"Maybe, but when we land, I suggest you all go home and sleep. Some of us still have to complete our psychological evaluations tomorrow." I look around the cabin at the agents and then rest my head against the window.
