Mogoa prologue
As simple as blinking
******************************

Sometimes life throws something situations at you that you not necessarily ready to handle.

One minute everything's fine, and you're going to a party with you're twin sister.

And then you blink.

Blinking is an involuntary act that bout body does to keep the eye lubricated every second of every day. Or that's what I got out of ninth grade biology. Anyways. Blinking, in a physical way, is extremely important. Without it our eyes would dry up like worms in the sun. But blinking in any other way could be the kiss of death, and suddenly everything has the ability to change. For the worse or for the better, but in my case I blinked and our car was going head first off of the whickory bridge. Life only needs a second d to throw something at you. Like you're in math class for example and you look away from the board for one second and now there is a shit load of math equations that you don't under stand and you have to rush to write them down before your teacher erases them.
But unfortunately for me it wasn't that simple. All I remember is going off the bridge, the car hitting the water, the screams of my sister and parents, the feeling of the water filling my lungs and then the sound of a heart monitor beeping steadily and the smell of rubbing alcohol. And all I remember seeing is a bright light shining in my face, Jeremy yelling for a doctor and the sudden realization that I'm never going to see my parents every again, and the excruciating pain on the left side of my face. Then nothing.
And at that point in time I realized that blinking is good for some people but for others like me, it's a constant nightmare.
