After they finished eating the girls and Stefan parted ways. Nova and Elena grabbed a still high Jeremy and headed home.
Nova finally reached her bedroom and changed into a pair of red pj shorts and a black tank top, she felt somewhat satisfied with how the day went. She avoided everyone for the most part but somehow she let her sister drag her to the grill with Stefan. Something was off with Stefan and nova was going to find out exactly what it was.

The night had finally come for the party at the falls, nova was dressed in black skinny jeans and a dark red lace top with her boots. Elena drove with Caroline thank god nova thought. So she and Jeremy piled into her car and drive to the falls. The small brunette walked into the party the smell of cheap beer and weed hit her nose and she smiled and walked over to the table and grabbed the first bottle she saw and took a swig. She then grabbed a joint out of her pocket and took a drag. She scanned the crowd and saw Caroline talking to a boy so interested Stefan. Stefan was looking around like he was searching for something then he made eye contact with nova and quickly excused himself and began to walk over to her. Nova signed and took one last gulp of her beer and threw the bottle in one of the trash cans. she then took another drag of the joint that rested in between her pointer finger and her thumb and exhaled the smoke. As she exhaled Stefan was standing right I front of her and said

" those things will kill ya you know"

"Yeah I know that's the point steffy, I'm trying to expedite the whole process" nova said as she took another drag.

Stefan looked at nova then the ground and said " why would you want that nova? You have loads of people that care about you"
Nova signed and took another drag then threw it to the floor and stomped out the joint with her boot the she said " I may have walked away from the accident with nothing but ptsd and a few scars, but Nova Gilbert died when the car hit the water. Now if you'll excuse me I have to get Jeremy and myself home" and with that nova turned to find her brother when she heard a yell. She looked around until she saw her brother running out of the woods with an unconscious Vicky Donovan in his arms. What ever weed and alcohol that was in her system completely vanished and she ran over to her brother.
When she stood right next to him she saw Vicky bleeding profusely from the neck, nova took off her beanie and pressed it to vicky's neck to try and stop the bleeding. She saw out of the corner of her eye Stefan walking quickly away from the scene. She shook her head and concentrated on Vicky, as much as she hated the girl her brother loved her profusely so she did all she could to help.
What felt like an eternity later nova heard the sirens and saw the lights flashing, she exhaled in relief. She watched as two paramedics placed Vicky on a stretcher and put her in the ambulance. She saw Matt hop into the ambulance as soon as the paramedics cleared him to do so.
She grabbed a distraught Jeremy and dragged him to the car and nova drove to the grill to wait for news.
