[SoulWorker] Erwin×Haru Oneshots (read description)

Worst nighmare

"You annoy me too much" girl in black walked by city ruins. Erwin followed her from behind.

"Aw, come on~ Just one fight~"

"You say that everytime, Erwin. This 'one fight' ended 57 times ago."

Erwin walked closer to her and grabbed by her waist.

"Haru~ I won't get away with this"

She immediately pushed him away making distance in 5 metres. She withdraws her sword and puts it in front of her, so Erwin wouldn't get closer. 'Keep distance.' Thought she.

"I love when you're like this~" He got his Gun Jazz in hands with the smile on his face. This smile Haru hates the most and Erwin sees that nasty look on her face.

"I'm tired of you, Arclight. Go away" She raised her cold look on Erwin. When will he stop that? Doesn't he see that she doesn't like it?

"Haru~ Where's that sweet look of yours? I promise that won't take long~"

These fights long already for months. Most of them won Haru, some she just gave up, so Erwin would claim a win, and some won Erwin. Usually he won when he wasn't in great mood and wanted some fun. Haru would left battle with some holes from bullets in her arm. Not the best feeling.

After fight Erwin would continue stick to Haru like nothing happened. Same flirts, same touches. As long as he didn't want to fight Haru was ok with that. In some way, she still cared about him, but she also wanted to hear an apology for upsetting her. Or at least for those bruises and shots.

One time Erwin convinced Haru for a fight again. But she turned away and eent away from him. Erwin didn't mean to do that, but he missed the shot that was supposed to go near her arm, not touching her. His hand jerked and bullet shot in Haru's back. Gladly, nothing important for her life wasn't touched, but she didn't want to see him for long time. And of course...

He didn't apologize.

Returning to the present moment...

Haru attacked him again. Erwin didn't see that upcoming attack and was thrown right in the bulding's wall.

Haru walked closer. No move.

In front of her laid Erwin. He didn't move.

"Stop lying there and get up. I won." but nothing was heard in reply.

Haru standed there. She crossed her arms and watched him.

"Erwin! Get up!" Silence..

"Erwin?" Cold sweat ran along Haru's face. She ran to his body putting her hands on his chest. Blood spots appeared on his jacket.
"No, no, no, no... Erwin..." Droplets of tears fell from Haru's eyes.

"Erwin, stop joking" his arrogant face had no longer that smile. Haru cried and awkwardly smiled in despair. "This is just your another stupid joke, right? Haha... You got me... Now stand up, please..."

But his corpse didn't move.

"No..." Haru layed her head on his chest that was filled with oxygen some minutes ago. She moved her arms under him, so she could hug his body. "I didn't want to..."

She stayed there. Crying. Hugging his lifeless body. Begging him to wake up. But it was hopeless.

He's dead.

Moment and Haru was already sitting. She was covered in sweat. What happened? She took a look around. Ah, yes. She fell asleep in headquarters. She took another look. Relax room, couch, big coat on her and... Erwin. It was a dream...

"Hey, you ok?" Asked Erwin moving his hand to Haru's forehead to check temperature. "You don't look well"

"Hah? Uh... Sorry... Not really good dream" she placed a hand on her head trying to stay conscious. Erwin pushed her head and she fell back on his laps, where she was calmly sleeping a while ago. "Sorry for making you worry"

"Take your time. You can sleep a bit more" He ran his fingers through her hair.

"Okay..." She relaxed and turned on right side putting hand in front of her face on Erwin's lap. Haru felt how his hand calmly patted her head. Her grib into his pants became stronger. "Erwin?"

"Yeah?" Erwin stopped his movements and placed his hand on her waist.

"...You... Won't leave me, right?" Haru turned back and looked in Erwin's eyes. In her dream, they were so blured, but her Erwin's eyes shine like emeralds. Filled with life.

"Of course I won't, Haru. Besides, how can I leave you on these weirdos that going near you? I'll make sure to be the only one and forever near you" Haru chuckled from his words. She hugged Erwin by his waist.

"Thank you"
