I woke up to the sound of absolute silence, which completly was out of the ordinary, since I had three newborns in the house. Carefully, I tiptoe to the triplets room, Derek's shirt flowing around my small frame. The door quietly creaked as I opened it. As soon as I opened the door, I saw my mate, Derek, holding two babies that were resting on his chest, as he rocked them into slumber. I smiled happily at hm, and he looked at me, and grinned. Derek carefully stood up, carrying both newborns into their cribs. Once he does this, he faces me.

"Who knew that Jackson would sleep peacefully, but our two girls always wake up." Derek whispered in my ear, wrapping his arms around my waist.

"Maybe Jackson's just a Momma's boy, and the girls are just your little girls." I smile at Derek, wrapping my arms around his neck.

"Maybe. Now, let's get to bed. Before they wake up, again." Derek mumbles, kissing my neck. I nodded in agreement, and we ran to the bedroom. We lied in bed next to each other, and just looked at each other. We were finally happy. I was about to close my eyes when I heard a wolf howl in the distance.

Wait.

That isn't a wolf. It's a werewolf, and not just one.

I froze in fear as I concluded on what they were.

A pack of Alphas.
