— prior to his confession, you two would have already go on almost date-like hangouts though,
— where the two of you would just waste time together around town.
— or simply just having dinner together.
— once he would have gathered the courage to tell you his feelings, he would ask you out to do something or go someplace casual at first, like your usual hangout places.
— so you wouldn't guess his intentions right away.
— so when you thought you're on your not-date-dates, he just asks you “Did you know that I have feelings for you?”
— he asks if you would like to continue meeting with him and you said yes, which made him very happy and relieved.

— you were sparring together.
— you two have been going on for quite long, and you are winning.
— you had her arms on your hands when she suddenly blurts,
— “If you lose, you'll go out with me.”
— “Wait what–” You were caught off guard and the next thing you knew, she had you in a chokehold.
— “I mean, if I won I would've still went out with you.”

— the whole date was already planned out before he even asked you.
— an exciting afternoon with lots of laughter would await you if you agreed but he would be pretty nervous to talk to you.
— one day he just showed up at your door with a rose and asked.
— “I know it’s weird that I show up all of a sudden but I was wondering if we maybe… ehm but just if you want to… maybe we can go out? Like on a date? Like a date with me?”

— you didn't even realize it was happening.
— first, he set up a candle lit dinner for two in his office for the two of you, saying it's a small “celebration”.
— walked you to your room afterwards.
— “We're doing this now, right? I just feel very comfortable with you compared to everyone else...” He voiced as he reached your doors.
— “Yeah, sure.”
— “Good night, Y/N.” he lightly squeezed your hand before opening the door for you.
— eyed you down before leaving, showing off a small smile before heading off to his own room.
— “He asked me out, right?”

— wouldn’t make a big fuss about it with flowers and stuff and just ask you out when they see you around.
— “The weather is quite nice these days! Do you want to go out tomorrow with me? Maybe we can talk and have a picnic?”
— Hange was so cool yet so excited about it and it's just hard to say no.

— if it's still not obvious, he can be very sweet and romantic.
— one night, he called you in for a “meeting” in the briefing room.
— you went in, dressed nice, but no one else was there and the room was lit up with candles and there was a bouquet on the table.
— “Sorry, got the wrong room.” You mumbled before leaving.
— “Oh, no this is all for you...” He comes out of nowhere.
— “Huh, what for?”
— “It's a date. For me and you. Just us.”

— the two of you sneaked off after bedtime and just sat on the roof, watching the stars.
— he had his head on your lap while you brushed your fingers through his hair.
— “So pretty.” He suddenly blurts.
— “I know, how many do you think are there?” You ask.
— “I'm talking about you, idiot.”
— being the cheesy man he is, you thought it's just one of his cheap tricks and pick up lines.
— “We should date though...” You blurt.
– “This can be a date.”

— you had the day off together and he suggested you roam around town to hang out.
— he told you to wait outside the headquarters for him.
— when he arrived he had a damnn horse on a leash.
— “I can only sneak one out... I hope that's okay...”
— that was okay for you though and you agreed bc you get to hold onto him.
— you had a fun day together playing around with kids, having lunch, and going shopping.
— “I hope you had fun at our date...”
— “Date???”
— “Oh–”
— “Kidding, yeah, I did. Thank you!”

—  would ask you out from person to person, maybe while around friends. — you would catch her smiling over to you before she approaches.
— “You look really pretty tonight Y/N.” — finds a way to squeeze in a conversation about a new place or a hangout spot she knows.
— “Maybe we can go there together? And get something to eat afterwards?”
