We Fell for a Prince and Nutcracker Soldier

Chapter 3: The Magic is Happening!

3rd person POV:
Mice started coming out of their mouse hole, running up the Christmas tree, shaking and throwing or stealing everything on the tree. Reed and Oliver had smirks on their pale faces looking around and trying to find the two nutcrackers, they turned around and looked up at the couch to see two beautiful girls and a handsome guy but the two beautiful girls stood out the most.  The girls were holding onto the nutcrackers as they slept peacefully. Reed and Oliver held their magic staffs up and pointed them to the two girls, the guy, and the nutcrackers on the couch.

Reed and Oliver said some words in a different language, then their magic staffs started to glow and shine a light at the two girls, the guy, and the nutcrackers, shrinking them to the size of mice. Valerie and Alora, who were holding the nutcrackers, jumped awake and woke up the guy as well.'

My POV:
Alora and I jumped awake not realizing we woke Basil up, Alora and I looked around the huge living room now and were very confused. "What happened to the living room, what happened to us?!?!?" We asked ourselves, thinking we said it in our heads, "I don't know Valerie, Alora?" We looked over to see Basil awake, "Huh so this is what it feels like to be mouse size, always thought it would feel fun." I joked trying to lighten up the mood while looking around. We stood up and in the corner of my and Alora's eyes, we saw mice crawling around! "What in the world?!?!?" I asked no one, I could feel someone staring at Alora and me. We slowly turned to see a person who looked like a king and someone by his side but with mouse ears and tails showing. "They look like a mouse king and mouse henchmen?" I thought to myself, confused. 

They pointed their magic staff at us making this greenish-yellow light and pinkish-purple light shine at us, Alora and I closed our eyes waiting for the lights to go away till we felt strong arms hold us in place. I looked at who was holding me... I came face to face with the king! I looked over at the henchman holding Alora but her face showed discomfort and disgust.

"Hello there, cuties~," The king and henchman said with small smirks on their pale faces "Um h-hello?" I said, stuttering a bit trying to keep calm. "Well, well, well two beautiful humans~," The henchman said, still with a small smirk on their pale face. I was trying to get out of the King's grip to get to Alora but I couldn't because he was too strong. Alora was also trying to get out of the henchman's grip but he was too strong for her. "Not so fast there, lovely~," the henchman said as his smirk got wider.

"Let them go, Reed/Oliver!" Alora and I looked over to see both Nutcrackers walking this way and Basil, not too far behind. Reed and Oliver's smirk grew more "Well hello highness, soldier, or should I say Prince Alexander and Soldier Callan, it's good to see the both of you." Reed and Oliver said, still holding Alora and me in place, "Not the same for you as well, your majesty!" Nutcracker Soldier Callan growled, tightening his fists, tightening his teeth, and glaring at the king and henchman.

"You put a curse on us and my kingdom, telling lies behind our backs!" Nutcracker Prince Alexander spat pointing his sword at Reed while Nutcracker Soldier Callan pointed his sword at Oliver, "Now, now, now Prince you wouldn't want these lovely things to get hurt would you?" Reed and Oliver said, pointing their magic staffs at Alora and me "Let them go REED/OLIVER!" Prince Alexander and Soldier Callan both yelled

Reed and Oliver only smirked at them, then looked back at Alora and me. They put their hands under our chins and pulled us closer to their faces. My face was heating up quickly, I was trying to get out of this situation and get to Alora but couldn't, while Alora was struggling to get out of Oliver's grip. Neither Nutcracker Prince Alexander nor Nutcracker Soldier Callan were having it, Prince Alexander threw his sword in between Reed and me, giving me a chance to try and get away from him. Soldier Callan did the same for Alora as she tried to get away from Oliver.

Oliver grabs Alora's arm while Reed grabs mine and pulls us closer to them, "Don't try to run lovelies, we won't bite.~" Reed and Oliver said in a seductive voice sending chills down our spines. Reed and Oliver were getting closer and closer to our faces, Nutcracker Prince Alexander and Nutcracker Soldier Callan saw that Reed and Oliver were trying to kiss us.

Prince Alexander walked up to Reed and me while Soldier Callan walked up to Alora and Oliver. Nutcracker Prince Alexander and Nutcracker Soldier Callan punched Reed and Oliver on their left cheeks leaving a red mark on them, Prince Alexander and Soldier Callan walked over to Alora and me and put us behind them gently.

"How dare you punch us!" Reed and Oliver got back to their feet and got their magic staffs and magically summoned swords while pointing at Nutcracker Prince Alexander and Nutcracker Soldier Callan.

Prince Alexander and Soldier Callan pulled Alora and me closer to them. Our faces were a little bit red, they turned to us, Prince Alexander gently kissed me on my right cheek in a brotherly way while Soldier Callan gently kissed Alora on her left cheek, my face was dusted with a little bit of a pink tint to it while Alora's face grew 50 shades of red by that time. "Don't worry we'll protect you." They said with a charming, calm smile.

They turned to the king and the fight started, with a cling and a clang of the swords. Basil stood behind me and Alora. "I'm going to murder that henchman for holding my smol bean in an uncomfortable place." I thought, going over to my cousin and hugging her.
