I ceased playing any more.
"Your really good." I looked next to me. A short little blonde smiled kindly and I couldn't help but to return it. She was a lower classman, I could tell that much from her uniform.
"Thanks." I said softly, letting her know I heard her and appreciated the praise even though it wasn't necessary. She smiled. A hand was laid upon her shoulder, causing her a bit of a spook. Haruhi stood next to her with a small smile.
"Come on, I made some tea. Wouldn't you like some?" The girl squealed and nodded eagerly, walking away with the feminine boy. I sighed and got up from the piano, turning around. Everybody in the room, except for Haruhi and the girl, was staring at me in awe. The boy's nearly shocked to death, but the girls were just very pleased.
"She is really good." One of the girls said to another. The girl nodded and they turned to me again. "You should come play again tomorrow!" The girl shouted, walking towards me. I smiled uncomfortably and nodded so they wouldn't step a foot closer. The girls were all very happy and the boys were pleased as well.
I sighed and exited the room as quickly as I could before someone tugging o my sleeve, but I soon found out that the hallway wasn't any better.
"Did you hear that izzy? That was about the most beautiful sound I have ever heard."
"Yeah! It was coming from the host club!"
The two girls made their way down the hallway to what I assumed was probably the host club. I rolled my eyes and continued down the hall. It's not like I was polished or really good, I was just exceptional. I stopped at the window and looked down at the water fountain.
"How lucky am I?" I asked myself. I pushed the black hair that hung in from of my eyes out of the way. I closed my eyes and lifted my head to get more sun, but I was knocked to the ground instead. I hit the ground pretty hard, but my head landed on my arm instead of the floor, which was pretty good.
"Oh my goodness! I am so so sorry, Miss!" I looked up to see a tall boy with dark brown hair that hung over his eyebrows. He wore a uniform, but not the right way. His blazer was undone and his tie was loose. He quickly dropped the bag he was carrying and held his hand out to me, a look of pure regret and sheer sympathy on his face.
"Th-thanks..." I reached up and grabbed his hand, wrapping my fingers around his palm, a warmth shooting through my arm. He smiled slightly and lifted me up, putting his other hand to my back.
"I'm really sorry, I was in a hurry..." He whispered. I nodded and he chuckled lightly. "I'm Hiro by the way."
"My name's Kanake," I said quietly, waiting for his to let go of me. He stepped away and smiled at me. His smile was gorgeous.
"What a beautiful name. It suits you." He turned on his heel and left. I was a bit shocked as to what had happened, but I couldn't just sit here and wonder. I needed to go somewhere.
