꒰ We met each other beyond all time ꒱
"Hello! My name is Lee Heejin and I'm a new student. Please take care of me," the cheerful girl said happily as she bowed in front of her classmates.
All her classmates looked at her in awe, admiring her bright smile which lightened everyone's mood. Everyone seemed to adore the young girl in front of them.
"Heejin, go take your seat beside Sunghoon," Ms. Choi said. Heejin happily nodded and was about to walk when she realized who Sunghoon was. "Oh right. Park Sunghoon, raise your hand please," the teacher added, thinking Heejin didn't know who he was.
Sunghoon raised his hand nonchalantly while keeping his eyes glued on the scenery outside the window. Heejin suppressed a smile and took her seat beside Sunghoon who didn't even spare her a look.
"Hi! I'm Heejin," the girl stuck her hand for the boy to shake but he just stared at it.
"Park Sunghoon," he uttered.
His response was enough for Heejin who seemed satisfied that he bothered to reply to her.
The class started and Heejin immediately started feeling drowsy. Her jet lag was finally kicking in and the boring lesson wasn't helping. She rested her chin on the palm of her hand and did her best to take notes but her eyelids were getting heavier. Soon, Heejin started drifting off to sleep.
Sunghoon who was sat beside her noticed her head slightly dropping. He gazed at her sleeping face but diverted his attention to his notebook filled with his writing. It's her first day yet she's sleeping in class.
"Oi," Heeseung kicked Heejin's seat which made the girl jump up awake. He was sat directly behind her.
The girl turned around and glared at Heeseung for disturbing her sleep.
"Pay attention, pabo," he whispered and stuck his tongue out at Heejin who groaned.
For the rest of the class, Heejin struggled staying awake. Her head was pounding due to her lack of sleep. She desperately wished she was still in bed right now, cuddling Moomin.
"Let's eat together oppa!" Heejin clung onto Heeseung's arm. His eyes widened in surprise, not expecting the girl's actions. It was now lunch break and Heejin had no friends except for her own cousin.
"Don't you have any friends?" Heeseung rolled his eyes at Heejin but let her cling onto him anyway. As much as he liked to act mean with Heejin, he knew what Heejin had been through and wanted to take care of her in his own way.
"Nope! I wanna meet your friends!" Heejin spoke enthusiastically. Since this morning, she's been excited to meet Heeseung's friends especially because they all seemed outgoing.
