"Sunghoon-ah!" Heejin's voice screeched and echoed in the hallway as she sprinted to her and Sunghoon's desk.
The boy was startled when the girl almost lost her balance in a hurry. Heejin placed a bento box in front of Sunghoon who had a confused look.
"Woah! Heejin even cooked him lunch," Jay peered behind Sunghoon along with Jake whose brows waved teasingly.
"Mind if I taste it, Ddunghoonie?" Jake asked, mocking Heejin who mocked him back.
"Nyeh nyeh nyeh," Heejin stuck her tongue out at Jake who laughed at her. She returned her attention to the ice prince and smiled at him. "Anyways, eat this later for lunch, okay?" Heejin giggled.
Heeseung then entered the classroom. He had dark bags under his eyes and his uniform was improperly worn. He looked like a walking zombie.
"Hyung!" Jay jumped in his seat upon seeing Heeseung who looked lifeless. "Why do you look like a zombie?"
Heeseung pointed at Heejin accusingly. "This girl woke me up at 4 am and asked me to buy ingredients with her,"
"You're the best, oppa!" Heejin grinned, her eyes disappearing due to how big her smile was.
"Wah! Sunghoon you better treat Heejin nicely," Jake slapped Sunghoon's shoulder playfully a bit too hard, causing Sunghoon to whimper quietly as he rubbed them in pain.
Classes went by and lunch came. Heejin was alone buying her banana milk at the vending machine when Minjeong and her friends approached her again.
"Ya, Lee Heejin," Minjeong spoke, her voice full of hatred and venom.
Heejin looked up and held her banana milk in her tiny hands. She was shaking again.
"I thought I told you to stay away from the boys? Now you're going for Sunghoon?" The girl smirked sarcastically. She then slammed her hand against the vending machine, causing Heejin to jump in surprise.
Unknowingly to Heejin, Sunghoon was walking by with the lunchbox the girl prepared in his hand when he heard a loud noise. He peered at the direction and found Heejin being surrounded by the three. Like a tiny bunny that was being surrounded by predators.
Sunghoon watched Minjeong spit words at Heejin who just closed her eyes shut in fear. He wanted her to fight back but he knew Heejin could never. With a sigh, he was about to walk towards them when Ryujin appeared and shielded Heejin from Minjeong.
The boy turned on his heel and let Ryujin handle the situation. Instead he made his way to his friends who were already waiting for him.
"Noona!" Jungwon and Ni-ki called Heejin who looked so frail compared to Ryujin.
