Yoonju wasn't expecting to come home — when he's still taking over.

He had tossed Yunho's bag on the sofa. Despite being tired from a ten hour shift Yunho would usually go through, he finds himself pacing around.

This was his first time feeling somewhat free and had stayed longer being in control. Biting on his lip, as he was just about to head to the bedroom, Yunho's phone suddenly rings.

Curious, he grabs it from the pocket and sees an unregistered number. "If this is one of those pricks again..."

Unlocking the phone, it quickly leads to the messaging app.

You don't have to compensate anything.

Yoonju looks at the text with furrowed brows. Who the hell would Yunho need to compensate? Not knowing whoever it is, he chooses to ignore but the phone vibrates again and a new message pops up.

This is Yuna by the way.

His eyes widen a little, brows raising. A smile forms on his lips as he settles himself on the sofa and reply a message back.

What does Yunho need to compensate anyway?

When Yuna felt her phone vibrate after just putting it back on her coffee table, she suddenly felt nervous. She slowly takes it to check his reply, only to be confused about it once she has read it.

Isn't this Jeong Yunho's number? He wrote it on a note.

Yoonju chuckles at her reply and quickly types his reply back.

I never said it wasn't.

As much as Yuna was still debating if Yunho's acting or just pulling a weird prank on her, she thinks it's odd for him to do since they just met. She was close to being sure that maybe he isn't acting after all.

I'll just talk to him once he's back? I guess?

Thinking that her last message would stop the replies, she instead was received by her phone ringing loudly, indicating a call is being delivered.

"What?" She looks down at her phone to see Jeong Yunho's name on the screen — calling her.

Yoonju expects she wouldn't answer as his smirk grows, but it soon disappears when he hears his call being answered.

Slightly flustered, Yoonju clears his throat and finally speaks, "Ms. Yuna, unexpected of you to actually answer my call."

"I didn't answer for you, I answered on behalf of Yunho." She retorts back, thinking that it all makes sense now. Yoonju was still there.

"But you're well aware Yunho isn't here." Yoonju breathes out through his nose, a low chuckle following, the sound going over Yuna's speakers.

Yuna was left speechless because she knew he was right.
