homeroom went by pretty quickly, though they never interacted again for that class. 2 classes later, the bell rung to signal lunch had begun.
"amber! yanfei!" ganyu yelled quietly from the lunch line. the girls approached her. "hey ganyu! i wish we had homeroom together, instead i got stuck with yanfei!" amber fake frowned, the 3 of them giggled. "theres not too many people i know of, but keqing is in there," ganyu said as she put an apple on her tray. "keqing?" yanfei said, a little annoyed, "she's super rude! she was in my class last year but wouldn't interact with anyone but mona. she also gave everyone this weird judging look.." ganyu laughed, "yea i know,"
keqing and mona sat down at a table, mona immediately put her salad onto keqing's plate. "here! you should eat healthy" mona smirked. "just say you dont like salads." keqing said, rolling her eyes. mona grunted. "you're no fun," she lay back on her seat and pulled her phone out. "uhuh," keqing said as she opened the plastic bag which contained the utensils. "oh by the way!" mona interrupted, "you have a group project tomorrow for your homeroom, he told my period every one of his classes was doing it.." keqing sighed. "ughhh" mona laughed, "good luck on finding a partner."
after lunch, nothing eventful really happened, just a regular school day. keqing grabbed her bag and hurried down the stairs, finally leaving the building. *first day of school, over.* she thought. now, who was she gonna team up with for the group project? keqing really doesn't know anyone in that class.. and it obviously can't be ganyu.. ugh why did mona have to tell her at lunch!
