Ganyu's alarm rung, it was 7:00 AM. she grunted as she reached to turn it off. ganyu stood up and headed to her closet for her uniform. she got dressed, ate breakfast, did some light makeup and left for school. by the time she got to school it was 8:05, she had 5 minutes free until class started. she rose her head to see if she could spot amber or yanfei, but there was no sign of either of them. oh well, she thought as she headed upstairs, she might as-well be early.
ganyu sat down, taking out the books needed for the class from her backpack. ganyu is actually pretty organized, its kind of her secret for studying. as she was about to pull her phone out to scroll through social media, the bell rung and more people walked into the classroom. she sighed as she put her phone back inside her bag. keqing walked into the classroom, they accidentally met eyes. then keqing made a judging look, making ganyu look away to the side. *oops* ganyu thought as she made an awkward smile. "what are you smiling at?" the girl next to ganyu laughed. ganyu focused, "oops! sorry! i didn't mean to stare at u" she said awkwardly. "its fine!" she giggled, "whats your name? i'm yoimiya!" yoimiya smiled. "thats a pretty name!" ganyu continued, "i'm ganyu" they both has quite a long conversation, which stopped when the teacher walked in.
"alright. lets not beat around the bush," he said, "you guys have a group project, teams of 4. you have 10 minutes to pick your teams while i set up." most of the class sighed and started standing up to look for their friends. yoimiya looked to ganyu. "wanna team up?" she said in an excited voice. "sure! but we need 2 more," ganyu said. "hmmm" yoimiya searched the classroom. "bulls eye!" "huh?" ganyu said, confused. "yoimiya got up and walked over to sucrose, "hey sucrose! wanna team up with me and ganyu?" she smiled. "oh!" sucrose said, a little nervous, "sure!" she got up and followed yoimiya to her desk. "hi ganyu!" sucrose said as she grabbed a chair to add to their table. "hi!" ganyu smiled.
"ok." yoimiya said, in a fake serious tone, "we need one more, and were running out of time." ganyu laughed, "don't worry, we'll find someone." the three of them searched the classroom, "oh!" ganyu started, "shouldn't we invite keqing? she's really smart, so she could be helpful for the project." "ehhh" both sucrose and yoimiya sighed, "you know how she is though.." sucrose said. "yes.." ganyu said, "but again, shes smart, and shes basically the only one without a group yet." "yea but look at her! shes not even trying to find a group, its like she wants to do the project by herself." yoimiya said, a little annoyed, ganyu laughed, "yoimiya you should meet yanfei," ganyu said, as she stood up to walk to keqing. "huh? wait-" yoimiya sighed. she looked at sucrose, "whats that supposed to mean!" sucrose shrugged, "dont ask me."
keqing saw ganyu approaching her, she sighed. "hey keqing!" ganyu started, "wanna team up with us?" "and before you say no.., were all very smart!" "plus!! you cant do the project alone." keqing sighed. she thought about it for around 5 seconds. "okay fine, ill join your group." "great" ganyu said. she put her hand infront of keqing, keqing grabbed her hand, a little confused, ganyu giggled and pulled her to their desk. keqing grabbed an empty chair from a nearby table and sat next to sucrose. "um okay! now we're a full group!" yoimiya started. "we should probably start today, whose house should we do it at?" "um," sucrose started, "my parents left for the week, so it might be quieter and better for projects!" she smiled. "ooh!" yoimiya said, "yea lets do it at your place!" "alright, its decided then!" ganyu smiled, the teacher called their attention, he was about to start the lesson.

the 4 of them met up, "alright!" yoimiya said, "sucrose, lead the way!" sucrose laughed, "of course. my house isnt too far from here, we'll be there in around 5 minutes." "sounds good" ganyu said looking at keqing, she seemed pretty spaced out. ganyu snapped her fingers, making keqing come back to earth, "what?" she said. "sucrose said we'll be there in around 5 minutes," ganyu smiled, she was trying her best to not make it so awkward between them. "oh, okay." keqing said straightening up.
they had arrived at sucrose's apartment, "alright.. let me just grab my keys." she reached for her bag and opened the door. "make yourselves comfortable, i'm gonna see if theres any snacks in the kitchen." she said, as the 4 of them walked in. as the 3 other girls were in another room, someone knocked on the front door. "coming!" sucrose said, as she put down the bowl of cookies. she opened the door to find albedo and klee. "hey sucrose!" albedo said, smiling. "oh!" she stuttered, "hey albedo, hey klee! what are you guys doing here?" "could klee stay for a few hours? i have to go to cram school early, i'm really sorry!" albedo said. "oh! um, of course! my partners for the group project are here too though." she said, "thats fine. thank you so much sucrose! you're a life saver!" he hugged her and started walking away, "ill come pick her up in a few!" sucrose waved while klee let herself in, she was quite familiar with sucrose's place. "do you have that good bread you gave albedo the other day?" klee asked, walking toward the kitchen. sucrose closed the front door, "yea! ill get it for you in a sec!"
sucrose grabbed the bowl of cookies, turned the tv on for klee, and walked into her room, where the other 3 were unpacking. "took you long enough," keqing said, as she opened a book to the right page. sucrose rolled her eyes, "something came up, but im here now." she said as she placed the bowl of cookies down, sitting in between yoimiya and ganyu. ganyu whispered to keqing, "try being less rude okay..? the 4 of us need to work on this together." keqing looked at her with an obviously judging look, but she decided not to respond to ganyu.
it was about 8:30 PM, they had been working on the project for around 4 hours. "i'm seriously beat!" yoimiya said, throwing herself on the couch. "you're not the only one" ganyu said. sitting down on the kitchen island. "if i may ask, what are you making for dinner?" keqing asked. yoimiya laughed, "no need to be so formal! but really, what are you making for dinner.." "hmm, i have some frozen pizza, i could microwave it for us." "yes please!" klee shouted from the other room. the 4 of them laughed, "okay okay!" sucrose said, grabbing the frozen pizza.
after having dinner and fooling around a bit, it was 10:00 PM, "oh shoot!" yoimiya said, "it might've gotten a little too late to go back home.." she smiled awkwardly. sucrose laughed, "you guys should stay over, i have extra pjs, and we could wash your uniforms overnight." "alright!" ganyu said, "im dying to change out of this uniform! lead us to the pjs!" they all walked into her room; each grabbing a random pair of pjs.
