Dixie and Noah have a shower and get changed, and go to sleep.

A couple of days later, Dixie's parents come over. Dixie is alone as Noah's at work, and the twins are at daycare.

Marc: So, have you been looking for families for Amara like we told you to.

Dixie: no, because Noah and I are not putting her up for adoption.

Heidi: well, you and Noah shouldn't be living together. Anyway, he is a bad influence on you.

Dixie: how is he a bad influence. He supports and loves me no matter what. When I was ready to give up, he was there.

When I told him I was pregnant because I was raped, he immediately said he'd help raise her. I don't see how he's a bad influence.

Heidi: he got you drunk then pregnant. Then he left you. Then he hurt himself and made you lose the baby.

Dixie: HOW FUCKING DARE YOU SAY THAT. Heidi comes over and slaps Dixie.

Heidi: you may live in this house, but we pay for it. I'm still your mother. You are a disrespectful little girl. Break it off with Noah, or we will force you to do it. Heidi and Marc leave. Dixie goes to the couch and lays down, and sobs.

2 hours later

Noah had just gotten home with the twins, and he heard Amara crying and dixie asleep, so he went and got her and settled her the put her down to play with the twins.

Noah goes downstairs and to the couch where Dixie is, and he sees tear streaks and gathers her parents were probably here, so he picks her up and carries her to their room.

He lays her down in bed and puts the blankets over her, and kisses her head. He then goes and plays with the kids for a bit. A couple of hours later, Dixie wakes up, and she calls Amelie.

D: hey, Amelie

A: hey Dixie, are you ok you seem down.

D: well, considering my parents want me to give up my daughter because she's not biologically related to Noah, I'm not ok.

And also, they don't want Noah and me together because they think he's a bad influence.

A: that's bullshit. They can't be serious about what are you going to do. Are you going to break up with Noah?

D: break up with Noah? Never he's the love of my life.

Noah had come to their room to see if Dixie was awake and he heard break up with Noah and storms out.

Dixie hears Noah storm out, so she says to Amelie.

D: Amelie, I have to go. Noah's just left, and I have no idea why. Dixie hangs up, and she races out to Noah's car.

Noah: what do you want, dixie? I heard you on the phone with your parents. I thought we were better than that. I thought nothing would break us up.

Dixie: Noah, I wasn't on the phone with my parents. It was Amelie. She asked if I'd break up with you, and I said never.

Noah: I know you are lying to get me to stay with you, Dixie. I've had enough of your games and your family.

I don't know if we should be together anymore. I think we are better off friends.

Noah leaves, and Dixie goes back inside and sobs. The twins come running up to her.
