The outcome of the trial!!!

We, the jury, find Tayler holder not guilty on all charges.

Dixie: cries when she hears that. Noah had no idea as he's been waiting for Dixie to text him to pick her up.

They leave the courtroom, and dixie and her lawyer and Amara are just sitting outside the courtroom on a bench. Tayler's lawyer comes up to dixie and hands her a paper.

Tayler's lawyer: see you in court again next week. This time for the kid.

Dixie continues to cry. The lawyer texts Noah to come pick her up, and she tells Dixie not to let the reporters see her cry, so Dixie goes to the bathroom and Fixes herself up.

Noah arrives and still has no idea how it went. He and Dixie walk out with Dixie holding Amara tightly and Noah with his arm around her and moving the reporters away from her.

In the car

Dixie: can you drop me off at mine and take Amara? I need a night alone.

Noah: Yeah, of course. How did it go today?

Dixie: okay, I have to go back next week for Amara.

Noah: Dixie, please talk to me. I know you are not telling me everything.

Dixie: don't act as your care. You left me because you thought I would break up with you because of my parents.

Noah: dix i-

Dixie: do not call me that.

They arrive at Dixie's, and she gets out and goes into her apartment. Noah leaves and goes to his parents.

Amy: how'd it go.

Noah: not great she's still mad at me. She said she wanted a night alone, so I took Amara. She's looking so much like Dixie, and that hurts cause I miss her mum. I can't handle not being with her.

I was stupid thinking that she would ever break up with me cause of her parents. Amelie told me that she hadn't told her parents we broke up, so they kicked her out of the house they helped pay off.

Amy: you genuinely love her, and she loves you, but you have to understand you've hurt her a bit.

Noah nods, and then he gets the kids and goes to his house and puts the kids to bed.

The next day

Dixie barely slept because she was scared of Tayler coming and finding her.

The next week

Dixie is back at court, and Noah also had to go Because he and Dixie have custody of Amara. They are walking in, and one of the reporters says to Dixie.

Reporter: Dixie, is this the first time you've seen Tayler out of prison.

Dixie ignores it, and they walk in, and they get to Dixie's lawyer, and they talk for a bit, then dixie sees Tayler and starts shaking, and Noah sees Dixie shaking and then he sees Tayler and he stands in front of dixie and pulls her close to him.

Noah: why didn't you tell me he was out.

Dixie: I'm stubborn and didn't want you to know cause I was still mad at you.

Noah: remember what I said last week? No matter if we are together or not or if you are mad at me, I'll continue to protect you.

Dixies calmed down a bit. Dixie's lawyer had gone in, and she came out and said they needed to come in, so Noah grabbed Dixie's hand, and they walked in together, and they went with Dixie's lawyer.

The judge comes in, and it's the same as last week.

Judge: ms d'amelio, is this your ex with whom you share custody of Amara 

Dixie: yes, ma'am. He and I co-parent Amara, and he has also signed adoption papers for her that were approved.

Judge: yes, they were approved. I don't see why we're here then. Mr holder and Mr Barnet care to explain.

Tayler: I never got the chance to meet my daughter. I'd like to have custody of her or even shared custody.

Judge: you have no grounds. Mr holder, ms d'amelio and Mr beck have legal adoption papers signed.

Tayler's lawyer: your honour, my client was not considered during this. My client would like to see his daughter for a week, and he and ms d'amelio can swap her each week. Mr beck will not be included in this.

Janet: considering my clients are the ones who have raised her, I feel they should not have to share custody with him especially considering what he has done to my client.

Judge: Mr holder, I'm allowing you a supervised visit with your daughter and one unsupervised. Ms d'amelio, would you please hand the child to Mr holder.

Dixie: yes, judge. Dixie walks over to Tayler and hands him Amara. Her name is Amara Jane d'amelio. I chose the name you were going to name her. Please love her. I'm trusting you.

Tayler: thanks, babe. Tayler takes Amara from dixie.

Judge: Mr holder ms d'amelio will come to get the child at 6 pm.

Dixie and Noah go back to his parent's house. They walk in, and Amy hugs Dixie, and Dixie hugs her back.

Amy: so what's happened? We haven't heard anything.

Dixie looks at Noah, and he hugs her and says to tell them. Dixie: taylers out of jail. I have my restraining order, but I have to pick up and drop off Amara to him.

Amy: Oh sweetie, it's going to be ok. Why don't you and the twins stay here for the night? Safer option.

Dixie: I'd love that, but I've got to get Amara at 6 pm, and I should get the twins home. I'll come over for dinner tomorrow so you can see Amara.

Noah: hey Dixie, I'll come to stay tonight and before you argue.

Dixie: I wasn't going to argue, but ya know, if you want me to, I can. Noah smiles and goes and gets the twins. He and Dixie go to her apartment.

Six months later

Amara is turning 1. Noah and Dixie still aren't back together. They do hang out more. Dixie and Tayler have been co-parenting well, but dixie is still sceptical of him.

One month later

The twins turn 2. Dixie and Noah, and Tayler have been co-parenting well still.
