The story starts with our main character walking through a snow-covered forest. Why he's there by himself? Why would anyone be with him? It's pitch black outside.

Y/n: It's pretty cold tonight

Y/n looks up into the sky and sees the pale moon staring into his lonely eyes. That's when Y/n's mind goes blank and his instinct arises

Y/n: Someone's in trouble right now.

Y/n starts to pick up the pace and sprint towards the perceived area of danger. Once he gets close enough, he jumps on a tree branch. He sees a nice quaint house with blood leaking from inside its doors

Y/n: Oh wow! Someone's totally dead!! Maybe more than just someone howeve-

Y/n blinks and a man in a suit and pale skin seemingly teleported outside the house. He glanced at Y/n before disappearing from his sight

Y/n: ...alright then. Well better check the house and see what happened I guess.

Y/n jumps from the branch and looks inside the house to see a whole family mutilated on the floor. Remains everywhere

Y/n: This is...pretty bad. Maybe I should try to get help? Nah, they're all dead no point.

Y/n looks a little closer at one of the bodies and realises that they're still alive

Y/n: I wonder what I can do to help her... uhhhh...maybe warm her up? Clean her a bit?

Y/n was going through the scenarios in his head, he settles on making her warm. He notices that there are a few pieces of chopped wood in the house so he gets some and looks at them confusedly 

Y/n: How do you make fire with wood again...?

After a few hours of experimentation and a little bit of hope, he gets a fire going and puts the girl near it

Y/n: That took a little longer than I would've hoped...the sun's probably up by no-

Y/n hears some crunching noises outside the house. He turns and sees a boy with a checkered haori and strange earings outside crying

Y/n: ...It's not what it looks like man.

Tanjiro: Did...you do this?! Get away from Nezuko!!

Y/n: NO!! I just found them like this. I'm guessing they're your family. Before you do anything rash, how about we get this girl to a doctor

Y/n lifts up Nezuko and passes her to Tanjiro

Y/n: I'll help you. Let's head out now.

Y/n and Tanjiro start to run down the mountain in search of help

Y/n: So...how was your family before this?

Tanjiro: They were...very kind. We didn't have much but we were truly happy with what we did have

Y/n: That's pretty tough. Hey, at least your sister might survive. Oh, I'm Y/n L/n by the way

Tanjiro: Tanjiro Kamado.

Y/n: Sick name.

Y/n and Tanjiro keep running before Nezuko starts to jolt on Tanjiro's back causing him to lose balance and fall off of a cliff. Luckily his fall was cushioned by snow
