Meliodas flew towards Liones Castle tracking down Ryoko's energy, he knew what he's doing was risky but he didn't care he wanted no needed to see Ryoko, it took a while but he found her standing alone outside of the castle.

He realized Ryoko was possessing Princess Margaret's body but he could feel her energy surging from the vessel and her eyes were that beautiful amethyst that he fell in love with all those years ago.

"R-Ryoko" he muttered drawing the witch's attention towards him and Ryoko gasps in shock her eyes widened in disbelief.

"M-Meliodas!?" She stuttered in shock and Meliodas landed in front of her, his black eyes were filled with remorse, longing, loneliness and love.

Ryoko turned away from him couldn't bare to look at him but she felt a hand touching her face turning her towards him and he could see the pain in her eyes a pain he indirectly caused.

"Why are you here?" Ryoko blurted coldly and Meliodas winced but he deserved it for hurting her.

"I know I'm the last person you want to see after what I did" he muttered sadly and Ryoko frowns.

"Meliodas I hate you so much but I still love you regardless. Although I can't forgive for you did true Elizabeth was the main catalyst but you allowed yourself to fall under her spell" Ryoko cried and Meliodas frown sadly.

Ryoko cries but she hugs him tightly and he immediately hugs him back tightly true this is Margaret but he could feel Ryoko's essence through her body.

"I love you so much, true that bitch that may have poisoned my mind but never my heart it was always yours. It never felt right being with her but the curse made it unavoidable" he muttered.

Ryoko separates from Meliodas and she noticed he's in his assault mode "So you're now back to your true self your curse has already been activated" She muttered.

"But it also help me gained my true memories" Meliodas added.

"So now what are you planning, Meliodas?" Ryoko muttered.

"I planned to become The Demon King to not only lift the curse off me and Elizabeth but also to bring you back to life" he confessed shocking Ryoko.

"I'm sorry Meliodas but I can't let you do that because it's too risky besides I'm dead I won't be here for much longer" Ryoko muttered.

Meliodas frowns deeply "Don't give up so easily I will find a way" he remarks.

"Than what?! What will happen to you after you gain the Demon King's power?! What will happen to you!? why sacrifice yourself for a dead woman!?" Ryoko demanded angrily with tears, Meliodas was silent.

"Just as you are willing to sacrifice yourself for a man who abandoned you for a goddess, I love you too much that it can't be helped" Meliodas muttered and Ryoko closes her eyes.

"Every piece of memory I have of you is returning to me" he tells her.

"I remember a day we took a flight together" he remarks shocking Ryoko.

They separated and Meliodas brings her into a kiss.

Ryoko returns the kiss "Let's go on a flight" Meliodas suggested and she smiles.

Meliodas's black eyes turned into his emerald green and Ryoko chuckles.

He formed his darkness into wings and he gently grabbed her hand in his gloved hand and the couple ran through the grassy field and they took off into the blue skies with Meliodas leading the way and Ryoko used her telekinesis to levitate her holding onto Meliodas's hand showing her all of Britannia's land marks.

"So beautiful" Ryoko muttered in awe and Meliodas smiles at her and they separate for a bit flying around before they interlocked their hands and they flew to the setting sun. Meliodas brings the witch closely wrapping his wings around her in a protective cocoon he tenderly cupped her face in his hands, hands he used to kill and destroy many lives but now he will use the same hands to protect the one person who means everything to him.

"I love you so much Ryoko, you have no idea." He confessed and Ryoko knew he was being genuine she could see it in his eyes, Ryoko felt tears running down her face.

Ryoko felt so happy that someone loves her after enduring such loneliness for so long, she hugs Meliodas tightly who hugs her back.

"I love you too, I love you too!" She expressed her heart beating rapidly she was grateful to Meliodas, Meliodas formed a small smile on his face.

(Flashback ends)

Ryoko's eyes were leaking with tears running down her face.

Meliodas than looks down "But that memory was violated by that Bitch, I will never forgive her for taking you away from me." He muttered.

Ryoko frowns "Meliodas, Zeldris literally had to watched me to die the last time I saw of him breaking down, I understand that you have suffered immensely but so did Zeldris" she blurted calmly but her eyes were glowing with a hint of anger.

Meliodas frowns deeply "I'm also Zeldris's lover too, Meliodas, don't forget about that. Look Zeldris had already suffered from being in your shadow and I refuse to let you put him in the back burner" Ryoko sternly interjected, Meliodas frowns.

"Although I don't also agree with him getting revenge either because it won't bring me back at all and besides Elizabeth just burned her bridges by lying to the Sins plus I won't last long in this vessel" Ryoko muttered and Meliodas's eyes widened in shock and fear.

"I'm even lucky that I managed to keep my strength for that long especially with the magic dwindling" Ryoko muttered.

"No than that means" Meliodas muttered.

"I'm dying again Meliodas and once all of my magic is completely depleted, I will be gone this time for good" Ryoko stated sadly.
