Mia's POV
"Alright, you can have your weekends," I smiled. "I'm heading home. See you guys Monday. Blake, let's go." Blake followed me to my car and we got in. "Alright, are you okay?"
"Yeah," said Blake. We rode home in silence and got out of the car. "I'm going to head home."
"Hey, why don't you spend the night?" I asked. "My parents are making dinner for me and they make more than enough." Blake smiled and nodded. "Come on." We walked inside and to the kitchen. "Something smells good."
"Hey sweetheart," said Dad. "How was the game?"
"Good," I smiled.
"How was the scout?" asked Mom.
"They'll e-mail me," I sighed. "Blake's spending the night, is that okay?"
"Yeah," said Mom as we sat down at the island. She put a plate in front of us. "Homemade lasagna."
"Thanks Mom," I smiled.
"There's more right here," said Mom. "Your father and I have to go to bed. We have some errands to run early in the morning."
"Blake and I will probably be watching movies for new dances," I smiled. Mom and Dad left. Blake and I ate and went to the living room. I moved the coffee table. "Okay. So, we have an assembly Wednesday about anti-bullying and the school always starts off with the dance team doing something unrelated to the assembly."
"Oh, like last year it was cyber-bullying and you guys did something about being yourself," Blake responded.
"Yeah, exactly like that," I smiled. My phone vibrated and it was a text from Blake and I read it. I looked at him. "You couldn't ask me to be your girlfriend in person?"
"Rejection?" Blake questioned.
"Of course I'll be your girlfriend, Blake," I smiled. "Okay. Let's watch vevo and see what songs we can use." We flipped through the videos. "We can do a Taylor Swift song. Blank Space?"
"Great idea. You can be the leading lady and I'll be the leading male," Blake responded. "Shay can be the second leading lady." I nodded. "And you can sing!"
"Sing? In front of the whole school?" I asked. "Not likely."
"Come on," Blake replied. "Show the world what you can do."
"Okay, fine," I replied. "I'll sing. Let's see if we can find any other songs that we can possibly use." We watched movies, the vevo channel, and passed out on the couch sometime during the night. I woke up to a knock on the door. "Who's knocking at nine am?" I got up and opened the door. "Can I help you?"
"I'm Detective Giddish," said the female. "This is my partner Detective Stanely." I nodded. "We were wondering if you can come down to the precinct and answer a few questions."
"I'll help in anyway I can but I don't want to leave Blake in my home alone," I replied. Blake sat up on the couch. "Or he can go home."
"Blake English?" asked Stanely. "We need him too."
"Alright," I said. "Let me grab my stuff. Please come in." They came in and closed the door. "Blake, the detectives want to take us to the precinct and ask us a few questions."
"Are we in some kind of trouble?" Blake asked and I grabbed my phone. "I've been here all night."
"No, we just have a few questions," said Giddish. "Let's go." We got into their car with them and they drove us to the precinct. They put Blake and I in different rooms. "Okay. Can you tell us where you were starting around 8:30pm last night?"
