Mia's POV
We decided to have practice the morning of April third. "Alright guys, let's make this thirty minutes count," I said.
"It was genius to have you and Shay tumble," said Blake. "Where's you guys learn that?"
"I used to be in cheer," I smiled. "Shay, I'm not sure."
"Gymnastics," Shay responded. "From four to ten years old."
"Alright," I smiled. "Let's get done with these three routines and go home. The songs are in order." I pressed play. "Let's do this." We practiced all three routines once. "We are so going to win next week."
"Do we have to keep practicing routines?" asked Devin.
"Yeah," said Shay. "Last year, we didn't practice the last week and we almost came into second."
"Luckily one group did a lot worst than we did," I sighed. "We were lucky." Shay nodded. "Alright. You can have your weekends, like I said. I'm glad there's no school today." I smiled. "See everyone Monday." Blake and I walked out to my car. "Which theater are we going to?"
"Any theater is fine," Blake replied with a smiled. I drove us to a theater and we waited in line. "Furious Seven."
"Yeah, I was always intrested," I sighed. "I don't know. I guess I just love the adreneline rush."
We got up to the window. "Two tickets to Furious Seven, please," Blake said.
"That'll be eighteen fifty seven," said the lady. He handed her a twenty and she handed him the tickets and his change. "Come again."
"Come on," Blake said. He grabbed my hand and we walked inside. "Popcorn?"
"Sure," I smiled.
"Let me guess, water to drink?" asked Blake. I nodded. "Alright. Just sit right here and I'll go get the food."
"Okay," I smiled as I sat down on a bench. My phone rang and I picked up. "Hello?"
"How's the date going?" asked Shay.
I smiled. "Good. He's ordering our popcorn and rrinks right now," I said. "He's a good guy."
"You guys have been together for eight months," Shay said, excitedly. "What are you going to do when they do go on tour?"
"Endure the pain," I smiled. "We may not see each other all the time but as long as I can hear his voice."
"You'd like that," Shay said.
"I would and it's his career he wants to go after," I sighed. "I'll talk to you when I get home. Wait for my facetime call." I hung up as Blake walked up to me. "Hey."
"Ready?" asked Blake holding the popcorn and two waters. I nodded. "Let's go." We walked inside and found two seats right in the middle. "Here." He handed me a water. "Popcorn?"
"Not right now," I smiled. We watched the movie. As it ended, we walked out of the theater. "That was intense!"
"Which part?" asked Blake as he put his arm around me.
"All of it," I smiled. We got into my car and I drove us home. "I had a good day. Thanks Blake. Come on inside." We walked inside. "Mom? Dad? I'm home." Mom and Dad walked down the stairs as Dad put on his tie. "Dad, where are you going?"
"I have some business to take care of in Vegas," said Dad as he grabbed his suitcase.
"When will you be back?" I asked.
