Wallflower (Bakugo X Reader)

Ghost Boyfriend.

You reach the library five minutes before time which was surprising because you're usually late to everything. You're wearing baggy high-waisted jeans and cropped tank top with a oversized plaid shirt paired with avocado socks and sneakers, your bag hanging of off one shoulder.

You scanned the tables looking for Tokoyami, you found him sitting behind a pile of books in a dark corner of the library, wearing all black.

"Hey, are those for the debate?" You asked once you reached the table.

"Oh hi L/n, no they're for the seance I'm hosting with my club members" he said.

"That's sounds interesting." You said thinking of who's ghost you'd want to talk to if you got the chance. 'by 'club' does he mean 'cult'?'

"Unfortunately, we're one member short, so we're going to have to postpone it until we find a replacement." He said shutting the book in front of him.

Your eye sparkle with enthusiasm. You want to be a part of it so bad... But there's no way you'd say that, you didn't want to impose. Dammit.

"Who's spirit are you going to try to contact? " You asked making conversation.

"I don't know, it was one of my member's idea, who would you contact if you could" he replied.

"My ghost boyfriend" you said without hesitation.

"You're what? Huh? Why didn't you tell me your were a medium?" Tokoyami said, looking excited¿ That's a first.

"Oh I'm not. It's just s theory my best friend and I came up with, because everytime I get close to being in a relationship they mysteriously start 'ghosting' me, or something unexpectedly happens, like transferring schools or an accident."

You said and he listened intently.
"So I came up with the theory that a ghost or some entity is secretly in love with me and tries to keep me away from any kind of chance I have a love because they're jealous they can't be with me."

"I had no idea someone else on A1 was interested the paranormal activity! When I first interacted with you I really didn't think we'd get along!" He said bluntly.

"I even wish my ghost boyfriend 'goodnight' before I go to bed" you said grinning like a child. 

"Do you want to test your theory out?" Tokoyami asked.

"What do you mean" you say, thinking he's inviting you to the seance but you didn't want to assume.

"Would you be willing to join us for the seance?" He asked waiting for your answer.

"AHAH YES PLEASE" you whisper shout not wanting to disturb the other people in the library.

"Great, I'll text you the details." You both exchange numbers before you finally start preparing for your debate.

*Timeskip*

You got a lot of work done, feeling confident. You weren't really nervous to present in front of everyone, you were more excited to go up against Bakugo... You knew he'd be a good opponent and you weren't going to  run away from a challenge.

You packed your things and said goodbye to Tokoyami, before walking over to the 'fiction' section to see if anything caught your eye.

"Wheyyy" you hear from a table near by. You knew that sound all too well. You peeped from behind the self and sure enough, Kaminari was falling off his chair in his 'yay mode' with a extremely frustrated Bakugo sitting across him

"Pfft-' you stay hidden to avoid another not so pleasant run in with bakugo.

Bakugo got up and held the back of Kaminari's neck, leading him to the exit door.

"You conk out and go idiot mode on me and now I gotta drop your dumbass home, could you get anymore annoying? Tch" he said to himself loud enough for you to hear.

You were slightly taken aback at how soft he was being... He's never let his gaurd down at school before. You figured he'd be different when he's by himself but it still suprised you.

'that is so going in my book' you smiled a little before heading out yourself.
