Song: Serendipity by BTS (this song fits perfectly)

"Wait wait. I-I can't s-see h-him right n-now! Y-you... H-he probably h-hates m-my guts!" Chongyun said, being pulled by Yanfei to a very expensive looking car.
"Where the hell did you get that idea? He wants to see you. Do you know how worried he was about you when you suddenly ghosted him? He wouldn't be able to sleep at night not knowing if you were alright." She got kind of angry at him. Even though it wasn't her place, she got mad at him for hurting her best friend.
"He's my best friend. If I were him, I'd-" Yanfei cut herself off. She was getting worked up over nothing. Plus, the boy in front of her already looked like he'd been through hell and back.
"Ugh, never mind. Get it the car."
Chongyun obeyed, not wanting to be yelled at again. He carefully got into the car like he was told to.
Yanfei got the in the other side, slamming the door behind her.
The blue haired boy shrunk back into the seat. He didn't want this girl to be angry at him.
But maybe it was his fault after all. If he was just born straight, he wouldn't have made Xingqiu worry about him and his mother would love him.
He wanted to cry.
Yanfei pulled out her phone and texted someone while the driver was stopped at a red light.
It was silent the whole car ride aside from the light patter of soft rain on the windshield.
Chongyun was nervous.
What if Xingqiu didn't like him anymore? What if he saw how attached he was? What if he found out that Chongyun had had a "girlfriend"? He would leave him right then and there.
Knots twisted in his stomach and his heart lept into his throat.
Fidgeting with the long sleeve of Xingqiu's hoodie, Chongyun stared out of the window, nervous as can be.
Butterflies fluttered around in his stomach as they approached the destination.
Chongyun's leg started to jitter, Yanfei taking notice of it.
"Don't be nervous. He wanted to see you. He still likes you just as much as before, if not more." She said for the first time in the car.
"B-but what i-if h-he s-sees me a-and d-decides-" Chongyun stopped mid-sentence when Yanfei glared at him.
She was really scary when she wanted to be.
Chongyun whined softly and looked out of the window again.
The rain outside got harder, beating down against the streets and sidewalks.
"W-what if h-he d-doesn't w-want me a-anymore-"
"Stop. For the last time, he wanted me to bring you. I wouldn't have done this if it wasn't for him." She was getting annoyed with him, Chongyun knew it. He was being a burden to both her and Xingqiu.
She had gone out of her way to do this and he was being selfish and-
"What hell did I just tell you?" Yanfei snapped him out of his thoughts.
"U-um... I-I..."
"We're here anyways. Get out and go see him."
"B-but w-what i-if... O-okay..." Chongyun stopped himself from finishing that sentence. Yanfei was already mad at him, he didn't want to make her even more angry.
He stepped out of the car, rain pouring down on him as he did.
Chongyun was nervous, the knots in his stomach tightening and butterflies flying more rapidly around.
He fiddled with Xingqiu's hoodie sleeve again. It was already soaked due to the rain, but he didn't care.
He must've been standing by the car too long when he realized the doors of the tall building open.
And there stood the golden eyed boy Chongyun loved so much.
Both their eyes filled with tears, not being noticeable in the pouring rain.
Xingqiu covered his mouth with a hand. He was shocked, surprised, so extremely happy.
Chongyun was frozen in place. His heart pulled at him to run up to the boy and hug him and never let go. But his mind told him to run, to hide, to do anything to get out of Xingqiu's sight in fear of being rejected and hurt.
The car behind him pulled away from the curb and left, leaving the two of them out in the rain together.
Chongyun whipped his eyes, just to be sure Xingqiu was actually there and not his imagination playing tricks on him.
They were silent. Both scared if either made a sound they would crumble and fall apart.
Xingqiu was the first to move forward, Chongyun following his action.
They met in the middle, embracing each other tightly.
For a moment neither of them talked, just hugging and squeezing like their life depended on it.
Tears fell from both of their eyes, their hands everywhere, touching and pulling, making sure it was their significant other.
"I-I..." Chongyun started but was hushed by Xingqiu shoving his head into his shoulder.
They held each other's face in their hands, taking in how they had changed over two and a half months.
"May I kiss you? Please please please let me kiss you." Xingqiu asked, pressing his forehead against Chongyun's.
The blue haired boy nodded and immediately felt soft, warm lips on his.
They pulled away after a while, both of them smiling like idiots.
"You have no idea how much I've missed you, Yunyun..." Xingqiu said breathlessly.
"I think I've missed you so much more." Chongyun giggled.
"Not possible, sorry." Xingqiu laughed along with him, foreheads still touching.
They kissed again, this time filled with so many more emotions.
"This might be way too early, but I love you. I love you so much, Chongyun." Xingqiu said, holding the boy in front of him close.
"I saw your note... In the hoodie... I-I don't r-really know w-what to say..." Chongyun felt his face warm up.
"I'm not forcing you to say it back, just know, that I love you so much it scares me..." he sniffed, tears still streaming down his face.
They kissed once more. The rain pouring down around them, but neither of them caring.
They were back with each other, and that's all that mattered.
