DETENTION

Domo's POV

"What's wrong with you, Karin?!" I shouted angrily. Ignoring me, she sat down next to Hitaki, even though Kawaiitashi wanted to sit there. I rolled my eyes and sat next to Renée. Hinata was with Zia and Nainishawa with Kawaiitashi.

We waited impatiently for the teacher to arrive...5 minutes past...then 10 minutes...at that time we were okay to wait: reading, watching YouTube videos, eating and playing games until the minutes turned into hours.

The lights suddenly died all at once...we used our phone screens to see each other and my torch which was conveniently placed in my backpack. The room temperature dropped to what I thought was below zero.

"Okay, where are the teachers?!" Nainishawa said standing up from her seat."What time is it?"

Looking at my watch I declared that the time was: "7:16pm."

Looking around with worry, we bolted out of the room, down the stairs and into the locker room... Simultaneously trying to call our parents, all our phones cut off mid-sentence. We shrugged on our coats to stay warm.

"Guys, let's go we'll stay at my house: it's the closest!" Karin announced, trying to look like she's taking charge. Oh HELL no! I'm not going to THAT girls house...but I guess it's better than staying in here.

Karin pushed the door and it didn't give. She tried again...still nothing...trying another minute she gave up - the door was locked...

"Let's split up and find another exit" Hinata whispered. Remember how I said she rarely loses her cool...she's losing it now - she's more scared than I am.

"Split up?? No way! There's strength in numbers and I think we should stay together - this place is spooky after dark..."Nainishawa replied.

We decided to find exits in pairs:

Hinata with Zia, Kawaiitashi with Hitaki, Nainishawa with Karin and Renée was with me.

We all went in different directions and at that time we had high hopes on finding another exit...
