There hasn't been much progress since you both did laundry together. You greet each other when you pass I'm the hallways. And Steve has been a gentleman on multiple occasion when he hold the door for you.

This is one of the first nights that you tried out a bar in the area. It felt weird going alone, but asking Steve felt even weirder.

You're one block away from your building when you here whistling.

"Hey lady!" a group of guys yell.

You speed up your pace as you see one of the guys coming over. They seem drunk and not very nice.

The building is in sight as a guy grabs your sleeve. You stare into the eyes of a drunk man.

"What is pretty lady like you doing out here on the streets alone at night?"

"I was just about to go home" you say as you yank yourself loose from his grip and start walking again.

"Why the attitude?" The guy keeps following you.

You decide to ignore it, but that doesn't seem to help.

"Hey I'm talking to you. Hey girl! Now don't walk away, we're just talking. Hey whore, don't be so fucking rude and talk back to me."

You're shocked when all of a sudden you see the guy go down.

"That's no way to talk to a woman." says the man who just punched him down.

You look besides you and notice it's Steve. The drunk guy groans and whines on the ground.

"Are you alright?" asks Steve as he turns to you.

You hadn't realized it before, but your hands were shaking.

"I am now, thank you." You look at the rude guy. What a pig.

"Let's get inside" says Steve as he puts a hand on your back.

He walks you upstairs and sets you off right before your door, as if in the few inches between your door and his, a great danger can appear.

You wish each other goodnight and you close your door. Then it hits you. He's Captain America!
