Alicias Nightmare:I woke up back in my old home I heard mom and dad fighting downstairs I quickly got out of bed and tried to go to them but before I could reach the door dad walked in"hi daddy".i said softly.he didn't reply instead I was met with the horror of his mouth opening wide and his eyes rolling to the back of his head as the horrible things he said to me came out his mouth, I whimpered as those words filled my head"fat". "useless". "disgusting". "I hate you". "die". "I wish you were never born".those words rang In my head as i tried to scream and tell him to stop but nothing came out my mouth no matter how hard I tried.he started slapping me across my face making my nose bleed.I called for mom she came with the same horrible face like dads. I finally let out a blood curdling scream as I woke up.

Alicias Pov: my body was covered in sweat as I was breathing hard,I was trying to calm myself down but nothing was working so I stood up and walked downstairs to get a glass of water,my body was trembling,I took a couple breaths trying to slow down my heart beat.it was working slowly.I sighed and rubbed my face grabbed my phone and a jacket and went outside and walked to a park,i checked the time on my phone(6:30 am)I let out another breath and sat on a swing kicking my feet slightly "maybe I should relieve some stress". I said out loud. and with out thinking I grabbed my blade from inside my phone case pulled my sleeves up and started cutting my wrists,blood was dripping down my arms and before I knew it I had 50 cuts on each arm,i let out a sigh"I don't know why I depend on you so much".I said softly while putting my blade back in my phone case.I pulled down my sleeves and walked back to the adoption center, I checked the time(7:30 am) "shit!".I said.hopefully ms j isn't up yet,i quickly but quietly opened the front door I walked in and closed the door behind me,I looked around and there wasn't a sign that anyone was up,just to be sure I pressed my ear up to ms js door and let out a sigh of relief when I heard her snoring,I quietly walked up the stairs to my room closing the door and took off my clothes putting them in my dirty laundry basket,I cleaned and bandaged my cuts before putting on a grey long sleeve sleeping with sirens shirt with a pair of black leggings and some white ankle socks,I plugged in my ear buds and sat on my bed looking out the window while listening to linkin park humming along with the songs,"Hm wonder when more adopters will come".i thought to myself.I heard a knock at my door "come in".
I said. my door opened to reveal ms j smiling at me"good morning alicia".ms j said.I smiled and said my good mornings back"I have wonderful news".she said with excitement.I raised my eyebrow in curiosity "well alicia someone is thinking about adopting you!".that's when I felt my heart stop and my eyes widened with excitement "really!?".I exclaimed. "uh huh".she said while smiling.I quickly came to ms j and hugged her"he is going to be here next week to spend the day with you and if it works out you'll get out of this place".she said.I smiled so wide I thought my cheeks were going to burst I didn't even know what to say but I hoped that things would work out for me"thank you ms j."I said.she gave me a hug and walked back downstairs,I let out a small excited laugh and sat on my bed.

~TWO DAYS LATER~

Alicias Pov: this week feels like it's going by so slow ms j said the man who is thinking about adopting me is going to be here next wednesday that feels like it's so far away but as they say"all good things come to those who wait". I let out a happy sigh started packing up my stuff even though I don't know if I'm getting adopted I still it's a good idea,I finished rather quickly and went downstairs for lunch,ms j ordered pizza and cookies she got us cheese and pepperoni pizza and chocolate chip cookies i took a slice of the cheese pizza and a cookie and grabbed a bottle of water,I sat down ate my food drank my water and said thank you to ms j and walked upstairs to take a shower.

~30 Mins Later~

Alicias Pov:i got out of the shower and put new bandages on my arms so my cuts won't get infected or get blood on my clothes,I dried off and put my clothes on I wore a long sleeve black veil brides shirt with a pair of black skinny jeans with rips,I put my hair in a towel to let it dry a bit
I decided to repaint my toenails,I decided on a dark blue almost black color and got started on my toenails.

~1 HOUR LATER~

Ms Johnson's Pov:i was doing some work on my computer when I got a call from the man thinking about adopting alicia my heart sank a little and expected to hear bad news about how he changed his mind and didn't want to adopt anymore but I was surprised to hear that he wanted to come see her earlier and asked if he could see her this sunday,a very excited yes came out my mouth,she would love that I said smiling widely "perfect see you then."he said with a tone of happiness.alright have a goodnight mr. cerulii,I quickly ran up the stairs to Alicias room and told her the exciting news.

Alicias Pov:oh my god are you serious!!! "Yes!."ms j said happily.I almost started to cry tears of joy and gave her the biggest hug,she left my room a few moments later and I shut my door squealing slightly "things are finally starting to look up".I said to myself. As I laid down in my bed a happy sigh came out my mouth and i fell into a deep sleep.
