Time Travel

      She opened the door and stepped inside. There was no going back now....Kayla was going in the past to see her parents that she never had a chance to meet when she was born. After she was born, both of her parents were murdered and she was found by the police on the floor of their apartment. They brought her to the adoption agency so someone could take her in and she could have a family. As time passed and she grew older, she loved the Robinsons b ut she knew something was off when she looked at their pictures and they looked different from her. She would ask questions and ask about her real family but they would constantly tell her that they are her real family. One day, she kept crying because she wanted the truth and then some random woman appeared in her room. When she saw the random  woman, she got scared and tried to hit her. The woman convinced her that she was only there to help and give Kayla what she wanted, which was to see her parents. Of course Kayla had questions like, "how was this going to work?". The woman told her not to worry about it but just know she'll make it happen but she also told her that she couldn't change anything in the past. Once the woman told Kayla that, she told the woman that she had to rethink her decision. "Okay, I'll be back in 24 hours and you let me know what you want to do by then", the woman told her. "Okay but um excuse me, what's your name and what exact moments will I be able to see?", Kayla asked. "Anything with ypur parents in it up to the time they died and my name is Glinda", Glinda answered. "Well Glinda, I'll see you tomorrow night", Kayla responded. Glinda disappeared and once she left, Kayla was in deep thought. It took her too long to go to sleep because all she kept thinking about was her parents. She wondered if they were good or bad people. She wondered if she was their only child or if there were others. Kayla was feeling mixed emotions because if she said yes, this could really and she could see what her parents look like for a few which would make her happy but at the same time she couldn't be with them which made her sad. She decided to get some sleep. The next day came and she decided to go with it because she really wanted to see her parents. She went to school and just kept waiting for the day to be over and for night time to come so she could see Glinda. The sun finally went down and it was time. She sat up on her bed and she patiently waited for Glinda to come. When she arrived, Glinda asked, "So do you have an answer for me?". "Yes, I want to see my parents. I want to do this", Kayla answered. "Okay", Glinda replied. Kayla went through this door and when she stepped in, it was dark. Then 5 minutes later, she heard voices. When she looked up, she saw a couple coming out of a diner. She assumed that it was her parents. They looked so happy. She followed them to their home and watched every moment, even moments she didn't want to see. She even saw when her mother was pregnant with her. They looked like they were good people. She didn't see her parents with any other kids so she must've been their only child. Hours later, she fell asleep when her parents fell asleep then they all were woken to a loud noise at the door. BANG! Whoever was at the door, made their way inside. "Where's the money?", one of the voices yelled. "What money? Who are you?", her father asked sounding terrified. "Don't worry who I am, just know if we don't get this money, you and your wife are dead", the voice said. Kayla was scared. She didn't know what to do. She knew she couldn't interfere. She just had to watch this terrible moment happen. When her parents keopt refusing to give the attackers what they wanted, the second attacker shot them both in the head and ran out. "Noo! Mom! Dad!", she yelled and sobbed. She wished she was able to be with her parents but she was stuck with a family that wasn't her own....
