Kioku Uyara is an unusually strong girl. She has known this since she perceived herself as a living person.

She's like her best friend, Gojo Satoru, but don't like that fact like he.

Uyara have the constant feeling that they can break normal people like a thin layer of ice. This is horrible, so she only gets involved with the strong and the suicidal.

Which makes her feel extremely lonely most of the time.

She has the mother, who never had a very good sense of self-preservation, and the old man, who lost his sense of danger a long time ago, as well as her teacher Layla who likes to make her feel weak. But it's never the same as being with someone who doesn't need to fear her.

Even with her family's good intentions, the user of cursed speech is the only one who makes her feel normal. She is unpleasant and terrible, but has never denied that she is efficient.

The whole point is, when they're not refining her skills until she feel like disappearing, it is common for to isolate herself from the rest of civilization until Satoru has time to entertain her.

Kioku knows that Kenny will always be available for her, if ask, but she also knows that he does this mainly because having a close relationship with her is a family interest. Not that they don't like each other, but they both think being with someone out of obligation sucks.

At least the colleague isn't the type to want to use her or kill her. Those kind of people she likes to ruin.

But back to the main topic, on that particular day Uyara spent time watching the old man humiliate his brothers in video games as a supposed training.

The younger ones still didn't understand that they wouldn't win of a skilled seer like himself, not even if if hell froze over.

And, to her bad luck, the mother was not happy in see her laughing at their frustration, as well as at the old man's innocent face.

Soon, she was in charge of putting her super strength to use and doing something to help the community, bringing fruit for lunch.

Apoema approached as she started to walk away. Ignoring the angry children who chased him, especially after they'd stayed far away, cursing him while as the older one came into her zone of reach with the feathers in his long gray hair moving gracefully.

- Having fun? - She asked in his primary language. Her pronunciation sure was terrible, but it made him happy, so she never stopped trying to improve.

- Just as I intend to continue. - Apoema smiled mischievously. - I just came to give you this. - He held out a kitchen knife. - It would be nice if you stopped to enjoy the sweetness of the pears of this harvest.

Kioku took the object suspiciously. Sometimes the old man did this to convince her that something very important was about to happen by giving her useless things and meaningless suggestions, when in fact he just wanted to have fun at her expense.

Would fall into the same prank again? Of course did, because trusted the bastard, but he was still a pain in the ass.

Uyara moved her face disapprovingly and smiled at his way, leaving to gather the ingredients for a beautiful future fruit salad.

It was undeniable that the pear orchard was spectacular this year, but she could admit that she was more concerned with the exchange she would make in a few months than with admiring its natural resources.

Couldn't wait to spank Geto Suguru in the face when she met him.

She stopped in front of a tree that this year was particularly productive, picking up a succulent pear because she had no reason not to.
