Maisie's POV
I liked how Liam spoke to Niall. It was kind and sweet. I loved how they loved each other so much. They never had huge arguements only small ones and they never lasted long anyway. They could always settle arguements, there was no way they could stay mad at each other for more than 48 hours. They really did love each other. Obviously only in a brotherly way, nothing more, nothing less.
Liam and I sat curled up together one of the sofas while Louis and Harry sat on the other one. We were watching some stupid programme that Louis had picked. I think it was called The Only Way Is Essex. The people on there seriously made my skin crawl, there voices just went straight through me. Ussually Essex accents don't effect me, I even used to have a best friend from Essex, but these people just made my ears bleed.
"Well, that's enough of that Louis, you'll have to catch up on you TOWIE another time. I think Maisie is physically going to go down to Essex and punch each and every one of them if you don't turn it off soon," Liam laughed. I nodded my head in agreement. He knew me too well.
"I swear that Gemma girl, ugh," I sighed in frustration. "And that Joey kid, how dumb can someone get?" Harry, Louis and Liam just laughed at me. I shrugged my shoulders and pulled myself from the sofa. "I'm going to get a drink, does anyone want anything?"
"Hmm, can I get a Caffe Mocha with extra whipped cream and strawberries on the side, love?" Liam asked sarcasticly.
"Sure, you can have a hot chocolate with no whipped cream," I grinned cheekily. He just nodded his head, accepting the fact that hot chocolate was the closest he was going to get to a warm, chocolate coloured drink. I walked past him and messed up his short hair on the way out. He immediatley began to style it back into place.
I strolled into the kitchen, switching on the light as I entered. I flicked the kettle on and grabbed the milk from the fridge. As I stood waiting for the kettle to boil, I all of sudden noticed how detailed the patterns were on the worksurface. I dragged my finger along the cracks in the surface, tracing the patterns.
"What'cha doin'?" Liam's voice surprised me as his arms snaked around my waist.
"Gosh, Liam, don't do that you made me jump," I said while glaring at him with my bottom lip sticking out. "Stupid." I muttered.
"What was that?" He said beginning to tickle my sides.
"Li-Li-Liam, st-stop, p-please," I managed to get out in between laughs. He stopped tickling me and returned to his position that he was in before. He began to nuzzle his chin into my neck.
"I love you," he whispered.
"I bet I love you more," I replied, biting my lip.
"Are you sure?" He asked.
"Um, yeah? Why?" I questioned. He had his cheeky mischevious grin, which never meant anything good. He swept my legs from under me and carried me outside towards the pool. "Err, Li, what are you doing? Liam? Wait, no!"
Next thing I knew I was in the pool. Great. I resurfaced and poked my head out of the water. "What the hell?" I screamed.
"Oh, did you really think we would forget your birthday, Miss Maisie Daniels?" Liam said cheekily while Louis, Harry, Niall and Emily laughed behind them. Where did they even appear from? Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that, it was my birthday today. The 26th June. I swam to the edge and raised my hands into the air waiting for someone to help me out. Liam grabbed my arms and pulled me up.
"Thanks," I smiled sarcasticlly.
"Oh, no problem at all, here," Harry handed me a towel. "Okay guys, you can come in now," Harry shouted. Oh gosh.
Suddenly I was bombarded with about a hundred people, all my friends and family. I somehow ended up in the pool again but this time I dragged Liam with me. Music started blasting out.
'And we danced all night to the best song ever!'
Wow. Our own song. Liam and I were surrounded by people. We were in the middle of the pool while people partied around us. I had my arms draped around his neck and his arms were around my waist. "Happy birthday," he said, looking directly in my eyes. I hated it but loved it when he looked into my eyes. It gave me a tingling feeling and I always got butterflies. I loved how his eyes sparkled and how I knew I could trust him just from one simple look.
