Niall's POV

I'd saw Maisie going into Zayn's room and I was confused why. She'd told him to stay away from her and so had I. If she'd told him to stay away, why was she going into his room?

I thought nothing of it and just went to mine and Maisie's room. We were sharing a room, Harry and Zayn were sharing, Emily and Louis were sharing a room and Liam got one to himself.

She came in about five minutes later and went straight into the bathroom without even looking in my general direction. It was so unlike her.

Maisie's POV

I didn't even look at him, I couldn't. I'd just cheated on my boyfriend. How could I? The worst thing about it though is that I enjoyed the kiss. I shouldn't have, this isn't like me, I don't usually do things like this.

I went into the bathroom and stared at myself in the mirror. What had I become? I'd locked the door but that didn't stop Niall from trying to get in.

"Maisie, are you okay babe?" He said through the door.

"Yeah, I'm fine, just feeling a bit sick," I said back.

"Unlock the door, I'll take care of you," he said. I didn't know whether I could face him without crying. I slowly unlocked the door and walked out to him. He embraced me into a hug immediately.

"You're really pale, are you sure you're okay?" He asked. I nodded.

"There's something I need to tell you," I blurted out.

"What is it?" He asked.

"I...err...think I need to go home for a while," I said, stalling.

"But why?" He asked.

"I just need to see my mum and I'm just homesick, that's all," I forced q smile.

"Oh ok then, when are you coming back?" He asked. I shrugged.

"Don't cry when I'm gone, I love you," I said.

*****

I began to throw all my clothes into my suitcase. I heard the front door slamming moments later. A knock soon followed it but I didn't reply.

I heard the door open, "Maisie?" I heard Emily shout.

"In here," I shouted back. I heard her footsteps coming towards my room, well mine and Niall's room.

"What are doing? Where are you going?" She said walking over to me.

"I'm going home, I'm can't stay here," I said zipping my case up. I pulled it off of the bed and pulled the handle up.

"What? Why?" She asked, not letting me pass her.

"I'm going and you can't stop me so don't try, Em. I've already booked a ticket to go home," I said. I hadn't booked a ticket but she didn't need to know that. I was going to get one at the airport. I didn't want her to know the real reason why I was leaving.

"Ok, there's obviously no stopping you, but why? Why are you going?" She asked.

"Just," I shrugged, "I'm a bit homesick,"

"Fine, you're old enough to take care of yourself," she said," just be safe and tell me when you get home, okay?"

I nodded and she kissed my head. I smiled and walked out. I walked down the corridor and passed Zayn but just carried on walking. He grabbed my wrist and I turned to face him.

"Where are you going with your suitcase?" He asked. I didn't reply and just stared at the floor. "Are you leaving? For good?"

I nodded and he released my wrist. I walked to the elevator and pressed the ground floor button. The doors shut and the elevator began to move downwards. Salty tears began to roll down my face. I quickly wiped them away.

I walked out of the elevator and walked towards the door. I left and didn't even look back.
